There should be a place they can go to this kind of stuff legally. like a quarter mile track and other paved areas for doing doughnuts and stuff. just regulate it a little and make a little money from it. The city can do it, or someone that owns a huge piece of land.
@Swenson: Just like one of the cities leaders said, They're a club therefore they can raise the money to buy properly to do all their idiotic stunts. Why should the tax dollars pay for their hobby? It's not like we're buying X-Boxes and Playstations for all the gamers. I've got a business and I've already put additional speedbumps and metal poles in all the potential locations.

These are all empty parking lots and it’s done at night. There’s literally no harm being done. These lawmaker old guys should focus on something that actually really matters. Pushing will only makes things worse, and more out in the actual streets. Or better yet, they should make more accessible tracks instead of pocketing tax money on their pockets, how about that?

This is ignorance and a lawmaker who grew up without friends making rules to punish the cool kids essencially. If you want to stop street racing, open a track to sanction racing in a safe environment.. You will not stop these folks from doing what they love by creating an absolutly absurde law. I think the bill should be tougher! Not only would they be cited, but have a MANDATORY loss of your Driver's license for at least Five YEARS! These punks need a wake up call and just losing your license for a year and a $500 fine is basically a slap on the wrist for these punks who probably were raised in upper middle class homes where mommy and daddy gave them whatever their little heart desires! Make an example out of these punks; first time offence, $5,000 and license suspension for five years!!
