The problem with banning reparations is that would it be a double standard to supply reparations to a wronged group if something unfair happens to them in the future? For example, let's just say HYPOTHETICALLY if the vax were in fact used as an experiment on the population knowingly would it be a fair situation for reparations? Reparations are plausible for other groups but why is it denied to African Americans? Why is it a double standard for Foundational Black Americans to receive reparations and people oppose it? But for other groups, America is there to play a role in financially rescuing them with our tax dollars? Such as Ukrainians, Israelis, Japanese, Natives, etc? Why is there such an opposition against black Americans?

And reparations for the holocaust don’t come out of German citizens pocket, but instead the state. Also, you know most Germans alive today didn’t commit the holocaust (but Germany still pays out reparations), just as Americans today didn’t do slavery and most didn’t do Jim Crow. And descendants of jews that went through the holocaust, receive reparations. Lastly, I’m not sure if you know this, but Hitler modeled Jewish ghettos and antisemitic laws after US Jim Crow. So yes, if Jewish people that went through pogroms and the holocaust are due reparations so are US slaves and Jim Crow (US pogrom) descendants owed reparation.

Forcing the innocent to pay nonvictims for something that happened to neither of them is not reparations. Reparations is actual proven victims being compensated by their actual violators. I don't know of anybody who opposes that. It certainly can't be banned.
