I believe you have the key, having a low I. Q. Or an high I. Q, can be dangerous, you mind and what’s in it moves you body and actions. Two low there’s no realization of things, too high you have the same but you get bored and act out. Both can be very violent. I think you must have. Balance, just my thoughts after 75 yrs. Of life. Reasoning is controlled by chemicals in the brain, something is different there
As the mother of 3 children.., I couldn’t ever ever fathom opening my door to my son doing anything so horrific! I know my children.. mothers know their kids! We’ll never know if this woman ever suspected there was something wrong with her youngest child who killed her in this awful way! How horrible
And now we have over 20+ killer's in the United States if you don't open your eyes something could happen to you. You can't even trust your own family anymore

Unless he turns to Jesus. I know in the flesh, we'd like to believe he's doomed. But the truth is, if he is really repentant and asks God to forgive him in Jesus' name and turns away from his sin, he is going to be in Heaven with his mom, assuming she believed in Jesus, and the rest of the saints.
And he won't care, he didn't see her as a person.... because he appears to have Anti-Social Personality Disorder (Psychopathy) and most likely NPD traits too (Narcissistic Personality Disorder).
I can't imagine the heartbreak she felt seeing it was her own Son.Our children are our lives and to know the person she loved more than anyone or anything did this to her is something I can't wrap my head around
I work for the school board and I knew this lady personally for the last 20 years and yes she was an outstanding person. She loved her kids passionately. I have a child and we would always talk about our kids. She loved them very much and she was always wonderful around everybody that was in contact with her. She will definitely be missed.

You are my absolute favorite Sheriff. You do a wonderful job at giving the victims a voice and keep them at the center of the investigation. Too often the focus is on the perpetrators and not the victims and their families. Tragic & heartbreaking
Every person who wants to go to med school should have to have a psychiatric evaluation. I swear the resident doctor I was seeing is not right in her head. I filed a complaint but doctors police one another and they cover for the students bad behavior.
I can’t get the scene of how this unfolded out of my head. She opened the door so happy to see him and give him a hug, then gets brutally stabbed to death. Can’t imagine what his siblings are going through.
Yep yep yep ...can't stress it enough. The biggest trick the devil pulled was making people believe he doesn't exist.(Trying to counterfeit GOD). Demonic forces are everywhere at this time
I absolutely agree! The way in which this was delivered with the way the Sheriff spoke about the Mother & son & held up pictures was very personal. And l hope this man suffers big time for the senseless murder of his MUM over absolutely nothing. NATURE versus NURTURE is definately a thing!
Yeap something was cooking in his mind, that he felt this way towards her, she probably didn't even knew whatever happened to him, it could had been done by a fam member.
If you don't pay attention...this is what happens with people mills of the public school system and no parents present. No parents or teachers held accountable. We don't teach identifying people with severe personality disorders, nutrition, etc...how to manage money...... because they don't want success for the masses.
I'm not blaming this mom btw...at least not fully...she's partially accountable for not recognizing what happened. It's his soul in danger. But she was no doubt raised in a similar fashion. Until someone breaks the cycle it happens that way. I think that's terrible it ended that way for her. But I'm glad as far as we know he didn't get to do that to someone else who had no part in his becoming that way. I hope he never gets released.
Sounds like the dude is crazy, but definitely should never be let out of jail or the hospital as it came with no warning here and will again later if let out.

Psychopathy manifests itself at an early age (conduct disorders). No information has been provided suggesting Manny exhibited signs and symptoms of such a disorder. While family/community interviews and a psychological evaluation may indeed point to psychopathy, other conditions are just as if not more likely, e.g., psychosis.
This is the first time I believe I ever saw Sherrif Grady this perturbed, baffled and extremely frustrated and saddened at this senseless murder. So sad.
Yeah he really did seem that way. Because there was no reason yet. The kid he loved his mom, but she could be annoying. Heck, I better watch my back around my grown kids that I love and they love me. I definitely can be annoying and yes I talk myself through the day,,so do many of us when at home with loved ones. There has to be more to the story than simple annoyances, if not we are All potentially screwed as parents. So sad.

Grady is such a great sheriff he is seriously about transparency and his community. I feel like his heart breaks with cases like this . And he truly cares about the victims
My mom was a physically and verbally abusive gaslighting narcissist. No matter how provoked I was- and she deliberately tried to goad me into attacking her more than once- I would NEVER harm her. Still working on forgiving her ten years after her death, though. Just realized this week that when I was four, she gave away my favorite toy, and gaslit me into believing that I had been throwing rocks at other kids, and that she had told me to stop, and I did it anyway- but that I didn't remember it. So the toy had to to to the other kid as some kind of compensation? I remember that day- but I don't have any memory of throwing rocks at anybody. Even at four, I knew better than to disobey mom. If she yelled at me for something, I would be TERRIFIED to disobey. And she always yelled. Even with 24 years of that BS before I moved out, I would never have raised a hand to her in anger.
He killed his mother. Very very sad. I treated my mother like a Queen , she sacrificed a lot for the sake of her kids.. Respect your Mother.. RIP to his mother..
I am my mothers caregiver she often asks me why... why am I taking of her when she wasn't the best mom. My reply is always the same that has nothing to do with my responsibilities as your daughter ( I am also her only child). She is in very poor health and my Daddy passed 3 years ago this past March. I had divorced and moved out of my home state. Had built a pretty decent life for myself in NC. There was never a thought of Not coming back to take care of her. This makes my heart hurt and also makes me nauseous.
I retired early just to spend time with my mother who was ill , it was the best 2 years of my life spending time with her. When she passed away I mourned for awhile but I also cherished the time and memories that I had with her.
I just want to thank you. You have no idea how much those words mean to parents who are taken for granted, treated badly and have adult kids that resent even helping them...for the parents who never hear the love you expressed, thank you
There are drs out there that dont have any concern about their patients or anyone else besides their bank account. I know one thats so egotistical that he actually makes me sick.

I’ve had the misfortune of knowing two highly intelligent, narcissistic psychopaths in my life. Both were highly educated and successful in their fields, but a nightmare on a personal level when out of view of the public. Both eventually pushed the limits too far and were finally held accountable.

@@jasonbaker2198 So do a scientific, double-blind test with both silver vs. nickel and holy water vs. tap water. Along with an intensive psych eval. Odds are it's schizophrenia or a brain tumor, or some other scientific cause. But as Holmes' Razor states, "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, is the answer."
This reminds me of a dear friend of mine. He came from a wonderful close-knit, successful, loving 2 parent home. His family were very active in the church and were on the who's who in black-owned businesses. He was loved by EVERYONE! Like this suspect, he had a genius I.Q. and a heart of gold. Scouts for the NFL were looking at him in high school! His GPA was the highest! Instead of going pro, he wanted to finish college (business/accounting degree). His 3rd year, he started hearing voices. Never violent towards anyone except himself. Eventually, he had to leave college after threatening a government official. I believe he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. They spent years trying to find the right medication just so he could live a "normal" life. Sadly, my friend passed at 34 from kidney and liver failure (medication). My point is that he wasn't evil, stupid, malicious, or unkind. He never drank or did any illegal drugs. This could've happened to him. I hate all of the "mental health" excuses these days, but in my friend's case, it was true. No motive. Turned himself in. Loved his mother. It doesn't add up. This definitely sounds like a mental health crisis, not an excuse. My heart hurts for this family. Everyone lost here...😢💔🙏Rest in Peace, beautiful lady.❤
I once knew a schizophrenic young man who killed his mother when he was about 23. The mother tried so hard to get him help. It was horrific, all over the South Florida news. 1 in 10 have violent tendencies. I'm getting the same vibe with this one too. He held it all in and just snapped. Maybe he had shown signs of mental illness earlier and didn't get the help he needed.
It's so discouraging to read the comments blaming his actions on Satan and "demons". It's like people willingly adopt Medieval thinking. We're regressing as a society.
TRUE. Mental illness is dreadful and not helped by our sorry mental health system and archaic laws that tie the hands of families to get very sick people into long term care.
i think you are confusing schizophrenia with psychopath. there is a huge difference. people who hear voices in their heads and people who do not feel emotion are two different things. he is not a scyhizophrenic, he is a psychopath. he was aware that it is wrong to kill. he did it anyway. he had planned it. he never onced mentioned voices told him to do it. he was never diagnosed. psyhopaths don't get any attention until they break the law. they are fully aware of what they are doing, they just don't feel bad for doing wrong like most humans do. that part in them is broken. they are not able to feel empathy or remorse. but they are aware of what society considers right and wrong and what the law is. it's not ok to murder someone, even if doing so will not make you feel bad.
@@CQ-369 This is a quote from a man who use to be a Satanist but turned his life around and became a Christian. There is a real battle between good and evil. “Demon spirits love to play games with the minds of humans," a spiritist priest told me during my days as a spirit worshiper. "They flash thoughts and images in people's minds with such delicate skill that the recipients believe them to be their own reasoning. With a great sense of satisfaction he bragged how the spirits can activate the human imagination triggering people to like certain persons and hate others. They can cause them to experience vibrant happiness, or the direct opposite--great discouragement and depression. “And when it comes to poor Christians, he declared “those who are not aware of the supernatural activity and power, the spirits can apply such overwhelming pressure against them that it eventually destroys any faith they might have in the Creator” (When You Need Incredible Answers to Prayer-Roger J. Morneau). “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:10-12).
This makes me appreciate how law enforcement officers and first responders really suffer when they have to respond to such horrible scenes and situations. This is so tragic. 😢
Not blaming the mom at all, cause she sounds very dedicated. But from her age and his age she was a young mom and very work active. There is a psychological condition that can occur where not giving your baby enough face to face attention in the first 12 months can alter their brain chemistry permanently and cause deep parental alienation. It's the kind of thing that the child nor parent wont be able to recognize. There are a few vids on yt about the experiment as well. But overall he has a condition or has been radicalized or there is a reason he is not telling. Edit: THIS IS PURE SPECULATION. IM JUST WORKING THROUGH WHAT COULD HAVE LEAD TO THIS CONDITION. POSSIBILITIES INCLUDING HE MAYBE A TWISTED PERSON.

There is a saying that goes like this:When you lose your mother, you lose your best friend ". Believe me, that saying is definitely true. I lost my mother in 2022, and I am still feeling the loss. For those of you who still have your mother's, please love and cherish them every day of your life.🙏✝️

Why do we always need to try and rationalize these horrible crimes with blaming mental illness or possession. Sometimes people are just horrible human beings.
Yes. Like the Bible said, the heart is desperately wicked. We're All born with a wicked heart from sin. Why do children throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way? Because they are born to be a bad person by nature. Some people just commit more or worse evil acts then other. It's like Cain and Able in the Bible. Cain killed his own brother. Why? Because he was mad when God accepted Ables sacrafice and not his.😢😢😢
True, but kids who are soulless little monsters generally show it when they're young. 23 years of (I assume) no mental health issues, and then this totally of the blue? The kid is in pre-med, and a genius. If he had psych issues, he was smart enough to get help. And how would Mom not notice this severe of a mental illness?
Question is, was he always like this, or is this a sudden change in behavior with no previous mental health or behavioral issues? If the latter, that gets a lot harder to explain by anything other than drugs or a brain tumor. If neither of those are the issue, what's left?
Technically he’s a sociopath… sociopaths like empathy and are incapable of emotional connections or bonds which is why he could do this so easily without any type of proper reasoning… his logic was if you annoy him you die…
