I moved to MN 10 years ago, and people really sleep on it. Its been a great place to live for people who love outdoors, and even those who want the big cities without all the claustrophobia

As a native Minnesotan, I want to thank you for sharing your perspective of your time there. I admittedly did not get to see the cathedral during my time living there, so getting to see that as well as Mickey's Diner, and the other places you went allowed me to see them too. I live in AZ, but there are times I want to go back and look at all of the architecture and history I didn't learn about or appreciate when I was younger. Also, I had no idea Jen was a Minnesotan. I know you mentioned Minnesota in other videos, but I did not understand why. Now I know. Keep up the great work.

I’m just so happy that you showed off some of St. Paul! We don’t get the love east of the river that we should (in my opinion anyway) and you chose a great spot to eat. The only thing that beats Cossetta’s mostaccioli is DeGidios’ mostaccioli.

I live in Minnesota it was sooo cool watching you experience my home state. And yes Holden I think it’s weird too that the mall of America still has Christmas decorations. If you like "churchy" stuff, Lakewood Chapel with its incredible Byzantine-esque mosaic interior, rivals anything in Europe. Also, St. Mary's Basilica is worth a trip, too. (Both in Minneapolis).

I live in Saint Paul and I use to go to school at the college across the street from the cathedral! I would go to the top floor of the college and there was a study room that I would always sit in the had the most beautiful view of the cathedral especially at sunset

The Lego store visit reminded me of when I went to New York for my senior trip and my friends and I went to the Disney Store and I had so much fun looking at everything, but only ended up buying a pack of pens and some little character toys for my sisters. And I don't think I've ever saved gum overnight, but I will save it while I eat as long as the taste isn't gone and it still feels right to chew.

As a Minnesotan, I cringe a little at the idea of our state being defined by Mall of America. Its literally one of the most beautiful states in America. You need to explore the north shore of Lake Superior during the fall with the fall colors changing. As a film maker I think you would find that really dynamic and photogenic.

It's fun seeing comments from so many other Minnesotans. I know this is only a snippet of your trip, but I hope you had a chance to see the Mississippi, the chain of lakes, Minnehaha Falls, etc. A lot of beautiful areas to see in the Twin Cities. Just so you know, Mickey's Diner is still in business, but was temporarily shut down due to COVID restrictions.

That red seat near the long flume was marking Harmon Killebrew's longest home run as the amusement park was the Metropolitan Stadium for the Twins and Vikings
