It's difficult to find native milkweed event a native nurseries. I have some swamp and butterfly in my yard along with the scarlet, which is not native but easier to find.
We hear you and are working to bring more attention to this problem! Part of the problem is that our native plants are rapidly losing their habitats and we are working to preserve remaining intact habitat in Florida. We are also working with the Florida Association of Native Nurseries to increase availability of native milkweeds in the trade.
