Florida won the Stanley Cup with a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 in Sunrise on Monday night in Sunrise.

On Monday night, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the first on a goal from Carter Verhaeghe off a sharp pass from Evan Rodrigues.
Tied at 1 in the second, Dmitry Kulikov swept away the puck from an empty net - and Sam Reinhart scored on the ensuing rush.
The rest was up to the Florida defense which clamped down on the Edmonton offensive - with the help of some stellar goaltending from Sergei Bobrovsky.
