Such a hidden gem. It must have been incredible to see. Perfect time of year to vist such a beautiful place. I believe they are referring to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. She was also known as The Little Flower and is a very popular patron Saint. I wear a medal of her that was my grandmother's. I saw her statue there in the video. Merry Christmas. There is a Buddhist Temple in Gainesville. This reminds me of that. The one in Gainesville is layed out a lot like this one and beautiful.

The writing in the stone walkway going up to Saint Anne's shrine(16:54) is not Avenue Maria but Awveh Maria and means Hail Mary and is the start of a prayer 🙏 And what a place to build a church overlooking the lake. On a side note my mom grew up in Mulberry and the train tracks ran right behind their home. She went to school with the Badcock children.

“Dazed and Confused” pretty much sums up my senior year in high school. 😂 My friends and I watched that movie I don’t know how many times. Love it.

These are always some of my favorites to watch. I have to admit, at 18, I touched my tire after driving from LA to San Diego, thinking “I wonder if the tire gets hot?” It did😂 Glad that train track didn’t!

The Phosphate Mountains more like hills in Mulberry are really cool also! That's what I call them anyway! You might want to check out Wewahitchka and the dead lakes there in the Florida Panhandle of Gulf County.

I just finished watching your show about Saint Anne shrine, and there was a monument that we couldn’t read because it was out in the water. I just looked it up on Wikipedia and it said it held the statue of Saint Christopher merry Christmas.

The Catholic Church, that you was talking about is here in lake Wales Florida, and the abandoned restaurant, was a McDonald's, they close that one down when they built the new one down the road, lake Wales is my hometown this is where I live😊

I visited the shrine some years ago with a friend. It was way overgrown and in a pretty bad shape. It's great to see that the residents have cleared the site so it can once again be viewed at it should be. I looked up the Latin on the pedestal and the sides loosely translate to 1: "Heart of Christ, He is our peace. Mother pray for us.", 2: "Thy kingdom come.", 3: "Heart of Christ. Thus passes life. Mother pray for us." and 4: "Heart of Christ. Sacred heart of Jesus. Mother pray for us." On my earlier comment I meant to say the McDonalds had relocated east of the old location. Merry Christmas!!

You should check out Ave Maria, FL. A town and college founded by the Domino's pizza founder and home to the only Mother Teresa Museum. Not as old but very beautiful!

The mannequin in the "alligator" yard is usually dressed in G String ot T Back bathing suits. The old Church that is now the Art Museum was the original Catholic Church. They built the new McDonalds less than a mile away in front of the Winn Dixie Shopping Center.

When I saw the train, I thought it was the North Pole Express out of the FL Railroad Museum. We went last week - have you ever been?
