Florida scrub jay "happy song" 

Sounds very reminiscent of the blue jay's intimate, happy chirps. Pretty cool because their voices are otherwise very different.

i love birds so much, scrub jays and stellers are the king of the neighborhood birds here in oregon, you can always see one perched in the highest place it can go watching over everything.

I have scrub-jays where I live, but they usually make a cawing noise, or sometimes when I give them a peanut, they make a noise that sounds kind of like a duck quacking. it is really quick and just before they fly away, I always feel like it is them saying "thank you " lol.. but I've never heard one sing. Very cool :)

I have ones near my house that make like 20 different variations of noises all sounding unique and unlike one another. Im going to record them because from what im finding it seems like they make different noises in different places and Ive never heard any online that sound like the ones where I live.

Did you happen to raise this scrub jay after it fell out of a nest or did you get it to sit on your head over time? I have a pair here that I've been feeding and I want to get them to eat from my hand. Just wondering how long that might take and if you have any tips to help speed up the process.

A neighbor of mine had a bird feeder, and there was a scrub jay that I could feed by hand. He/she would always make this soft, beautiful sound just before hopping from a branch onto the feeder. Almost NEVER hear it referred to...

I have a scrub Jay that visits me daily he's only come up to me about a foot away today he was collecting sticks nearby I haven't heard him sing like this yet
