Pass deflections are a great stat. But I’ve never once seen someone prioritize a deflection over a sack. They’re not worth 1.7 sacks per 1 deflection. Maybe at best half a sack
@@YoureCoping01he had 7 sacks, so he’s saying they are 1:1 pbu / sack. 17 in total. I’m not mad at that comparison though, because while a pbu doesn’t equate to a loss of yards, there is a solid chance for a turn over when tipped at the line of scrimmage.
@@jarodleighton6421 still not a correct ratio, as when there is a sack there is a good % of time where it’s a sack and fumble so by that logic…still sacks are significantly better than PBUs. You can’t account for one having variable change for a turnover but not the other. Point still stands.

True. With such a big name guy like Hunter feel FSU wouldn’t have gotten snubbed. But also who knows if some of FSUs other DBs have their breakouts if Hunter is there
Totally agree. He kinda flys under the radar but like you said always seems to show up when it matters. With less proven production at WR this year I could see him being a guy that gets a lot of looks this year
Totally get that. Sione has been my guy this offseason. I think he is such a hammer against the run. But I am with you that MJJ has a ton of upside. When we check in on this in the middle of October there is a great chance we are talking about MJJ being one of the best players on this team. Sounded like he had a great spring as well.
@@rocboysfootball yeah apparently he started slow and finished strong. Sione probably has a higher floor and will bring stability but MJJ definitely has a higher ceiling
