My mom taught me that also, and i tell my 19 (almost 20) yr old daughter that too. She doesnt drink often and cant get into bars yet, but she does live on campus at college and is bound to end up at parties occasionally and bars eventually. Any time she has ever told me that she plans to drink, i remind her, and she says "mom.... i know!" And my response is "im the mom. I have to say it every time."😁
Omg the people judging this TEENAGER for having pink hair…saying HER LIKELY HOMICIDE should be dismissed based off her looks…WTF IS WRONG W YOU PEOPLE! Justice for this poor family. I couldn’t imagine this mother’s world. How have we gotten so heartless. Infinite prayers to them.
My thoughts exactly! This is completely tragic and as I go through my first trimester with my first baby, I can't even begin to fathom how devastated the parents are feeling about losing 2/3 of their children to things completely out of their control. That is mortifying.
Her daughter must have been in pain & scared from also seeing her brother pass. To say she don’t wanna pass. So sad. Can’t imagine what she was feeling
It’s not uncommon for the hospital to turn people away when they’re sick. My 6 month old a 104 fever and they sent us home with antibiotics. I brought her back 30 minutes later because she couldn’t keep anything down, including the meds. They finally tested her and she had salmonella! They took her back in for 3 days to do IV meds only because I insisted. Lakeland, FL about 10 years ago
Hospitals don’t turn people away. You’re scenerio the hospital didn’t turn your child away. They were assessed and felt they could manage at home but it’s only a judgement call. The fact she had salmonella doesn’t mean patients need to be in the hospital. Plenty of people of all ages get treated for salmonella at home
@@alexc.7868An infant with a 104 fever could be fatal its not the same as an adult. You give hospitals and doctors too much credit. Overall, they don't know jack and don't care.
Shellfish is a common food allergy. Some people with shellfish allergy react to all shellfish, while others react to only certain kinds. Reactions range from mild symptoms - such as hives or a stuffy nose - to severe and even life-threatening. Whether you’re enjoying an oyster happy hour or indulging in an elaborate seafood tower, eating uncooked seafood comes with inherent health risks. But one strain of bacteria has taken center stage lately: Vibrio vulnificu around 80,000 Get sick around 100 Die from raw bars !
@@sofonda9008the comments are based on what? The report says she was eating in a seafood restaurant. There is no confirmation or mention of the girls drinking alcohol. But sure, take the comments more seriously than listing to the report.
If this were the case there would recognizable symptoms preceding her death that doctors would be well familiar with. Yet there were no such symptoms discerned by their hospital visit. There is also the fact that her friend was sick too.
My issue is the hospitals they've been doing that a lot misdiagnosing people sending them home and the worst thing happens. A few months back I had no symptoms but a racing heart and a fever I could not break... I went to the hospital and they send everything was fine and sent me home. A few days later I still felt sick. I went to another hospital and I had the big C.. It's the misdiagnosing for me. This is terrible. I feel like people in the medical field are not even knowledgeable anymore. Or they just don't care. How do they send this baby home without a full screening? And she passes away later that night. This is crazy
That's the US health service for ya. When you prioritise profits, service disintegrates. Thats why the US scores low or bottom or damn near EVERY scoring sector of western living standards.
My eyes getting watery while you read her facebook post. I have children myself & can't imagine the crippling pain the mother is going through. Our hearts are with you. I know you'll never see this post.
I go/went to her university and when I learned about all this I did some heavy “digging” and I definitely cried reading everything… Seriously so incredibly sad for the family. It also made me pretty sick following her death people from the uni started posting/saying really horrible things about her on an anonymous app. I really hope none of the family sees that stuff
Plenty could be hypothesized if she were the only one who became ill, but the fact that her friend, who ate at the same place, became sick too? This sounds like a poisoning.
I also read the recent rise in ocean temperature may make them more risky to consume. Didn’t Florida recently have water temperatures that were almost as hot as a hot tub?
@@mikepalmer1971 It's rare, but you should look it up. Warm ocean and saltwater pools. I'm not saying the amoeba was her COD, I was commenting on warm waters.
deepest condolences to the huelett family. thank goodness that law enforcement is taking this as a homicide immediately. Not everyone that smiles at you is your friend.
I'm so incredibly sorry for their Mom 😢 Absolutely breaks my heart 💔 Why didn't the hospital find out what was going on inside her body, that is incredible to me that she was released and went home and died 💔 So sad 😞
I have noticed restaurant bathrooms dirtier and dirtier than how they used to be. This is a strong indication of how the kitchen's being taken care of. Also thought is just a matter of time. Resturants, you know who you are, clean your restrooms. It's an accident waiting to happen could of been avoided. If you can't hire enough help shut down.
how is the cop father of the friend who shot the brother in any trouble it just said they picked the lock, he did everything right he had it locked in a safe and they picked it that’s not his fault
It wasn't in a safe...did you even listen?? It was in his bedroom. The bedroom door's lock was picked. A locked bedroom is not the same as a safe, especially for a service weapon.
What I was thinking could be a possibility too. I would be investigating this restaurant more to see if there have been any other people who have gotten sick or died after eating here. There could easily be times this happened and the restaurant was never suspected.
my uncle died of that recently he was a boomer with autonomy. grew up with computers in the 80s programming java. his wife was a nurse and apparently she (didn't even know) it was botulism until it was too late. i feel like she knew, but didn't want anyone to find out for insurance or something.
Okay so about the brother... if you are a teenager (13 and up) and you kill somebody and are charged with manslaughter or murder it should not b able to get expunged from your record. i'm sorry I know he is a kid but he knows what a damn gun does and how dangerous it is to play with it.
Basically by the time mom gets out her daughter will be 18 which means she will also be out of juvie 🙄 MARK MY WORDS - in 5 yrs we will be hearing about these two in the news AGAIN 🙄❗
What were their symptoms? Did the friend go to the same hospital at the same time? I am VERY curious about their symptoms that would make them go to the hospital.
This is so sad. Such a young gorgeous woman who was just starting her life out. I feel so awful for the family given they already had to bury their son.
Kid breaks into dads room, dad is wrong for not having gun safely locked away?!? Perhaps the problem is demonizing tools instead of teaching gun safety like they used to. Perhaps in schools they should have gun safety classes for the masses instead of teaching kids in preschool to protest while forgoing civics. Logic is dead, feeling based rational and hedonism are king.
People, put your 9 year olds in Hunter n Gun safety course. Every state has one. Uneducated kids/adults are the biggest threat when it comes to firearms.
They need to check out the health inspection reccords for the Pelican Larry's. How nuch do you wanna bet the restaurant has been shut down more than once for health violations.
They didn’t release a dead person. She was probably feeling better and felt that she could manage her symptoms at home but nothing of course is ever guaranteed. If you feel that all 19 year olds who go to the ED should be observed in the ED for few days to make sure they don’t get worse then be prepared to pay double the taxes. All this isn’t free or reasonable
@alexc.7868 I hear ya. I was released from the hospital and went back 3 days later, partly because my body was swelling in places with sepsis shock. Also, if I didn't go back, I would have been dead. So, not blaming the hospital or doctors. I didn't understand or have an underlined issue.
It’s probably the food that got her sick. I looked at the restaurants yelp page and others have complained about flies and getting sick. So sad. Prayers for the family.
Don't even know the cause of death. Testing not completed yet. What is the purpose of this video? Yapping about guesses and assumptions. Waste of time.
Seems like the hospital definitely missed whatever was wrong with her and I would look into her friends/anyone close to her or around her that night. I think it was maybe was drugged/poisoned with something you can’t see until it’s too late.
R.I.P. to a child+a beautiful young adult woman. Prayers to this family it's just unimaginable! Also I've been in food service for 13 years, I recommend people to N O T eat A N Y W H E R E. Food service is something out of sci-fi, especially food service, for just how low the sanitary conditions truly are.
I have been retired for 9 years now and had eaten out in many restaurants. Now, that I'm retired, I cook all my meals. I just don't trust eating in any restaurants.
There’s a video of a woman doing a street interview revealing a secret for money, she said that she’ll go to various restaurants and put rat poison inside of the condiments, especially the ketchup. Someone should look into that
hmm.. 3x bratz filter on the snapchat pfp u know damn well u dont look like that so maybe the real reason why u wanna victim blame an adult is cause you're jealous you dont look like her. mad at natural beauty huh.
Wow, the fact that the hospital failed this girl is sickening. First, how would the girl KNOW she was poisoned to alert or tell the hospital staff the information to treat her. How about they run thorough tests and not send her home without answers. Seems to me they were medically negligent.
wasn't there a case not long ago where there was cleaning detergent found in the tea dispencer at a restraunt? the one who cleaned the machine didn't fully rinse out the cleaner and a customer get sick.. could that be a possibilty here?
The Problem is when it is not your Daughter,Son or family, you have a tendency to be disrespected, and not CONVINCING,About you RESPECTED for the DEAD.😮
So no one else in that entire restaurant but these to young girls got sick/poisoned? Did they eat/drink the same exact thing’s? If yes did anyone else that night have the same things the girls had? I’d want to know exactly how the food is prepared and cooked. I have so many questions. I could go on and on… Very devastating to loose one kid but two. These poor parents 💔🙏🏻
