We look into the archives: Tamina Kallert explores the southern tip of the USA with locals: Florida. The "Sunshine State" is full of contrasts: coral reefs and the Everglade National Park on one side and the lively city of Miami on the other. Tamina drives over the U.S. Highway 1 to Key West and follows in the footsteps of Ernest Hemingway, she snorkeled in one of the most beautiful underwater areas in the world, got a hunched back from collecting mussels on Sanibel Island, shook hands with dolphins and opened up the trail of the alligators.
The broadcast is an abridged version of a contribution from March 9, 2008.
