Oh wow, that queue for security was just insane! Bad enough for adults, can’t even imagine doing that with excited kids in tow! And then to be told to pay up for a taxi to the resort. That is out of order. Hope you had a good relax & can’t wait to watch your other vlogs.

Really enjoyed your vlog mate! Just a pity you didn't have a wireless mic to pick up your narrative a bit better on the plane. The cabin noise drowns you out quite a bit. Laughed my head off at your expression when that person was randomly waving at you. 🤣🤣

You did exactly what Carrie Hope Fletcher did a few years ago in her vlogs. She flew from London, England to surprise her family in Orlando at Disney World. I forgot which hotels they booked

Hi Ian, just found you and great vlog we were on the same plane as you and spotted ourselves several times lol we also had the lounge booked from 9 until 11 and only got 20 mins in it after the horrendous security queue and have had a full refund from Manchester Airport so worth e mailing them if you haven’t already 👍 looking forward to watching the rest of your vlogs 👍😊

Ah amazing! Plane twins 🤣👍. The Security was madness! I knew there was going to be issues and thought I planned for it it haha. I usually like to enjoy the travel and chill for a while before getting onto the plane…but..! That’s great they have refunded you, I did think about doing it, I just haven’t got around to do it, but you’ve reminded me lol, thank you 👍. Your face at the beginning of the video compared to how you looked at the end 😂 I’ve done that journey and feel your pain. If it goes smoothly it’s exciting but if anything even goes slightly wrong it’s like being in a siege situation. Hope you have a great holiday.

So you had to pay for the taxi upfront but be reimbursed later thats crap iam afraid virgin new the cost they should have paid upfont not good.

Yeh i found it strange after I had time to reflect on it, I already paid part of my package for transfers with virgin holidays, which is usually a mears shuttle bus anyways. My trip in November last year, my shuttle collected me from same point to hotel. I would have thought virgin would just have gave me a taxi to resort this time and dealt direct with mears to cover cost. I had to take a picture of receipt and send it to Virgin, got refund eventually after emails etc. Very strange

Awesome vlog! We’re off to Orlando later this year and your security queue has just reinforced my belief of getting to the airport WAY ahead of time! The only thing I disagree on is the seat position for premium economy, the ones at the rear (on our plane at least) are seated at the bulkhead which means they can’t recline as far. It might be different on other aircraft but some the rear ear seat is quite restrictive, especially if you want to catch a few zzzz’s 😴 but overall love the vlog! New subscriber :)

That travel day still haunts me to today haha, I’ve had a few flashbacks to that moment when in Manchester airport lol , yes I managed to get a refund back, virgin were great in getting me reimbursed to be fair 👍

Loved the video. I’m doing this exact trip next week. I have to do a live covid test the day prior to flying. Do you know where I show my proof of negative test certificate at the airport?

We fly in may have a villa, got email to pre register but couldn’t get in it so emailed them, 6 times since Feb had a chat with a rep once, since March not had any response from anyone at virgin, it bad enough being worried about the pre flight test now worried will we get the villa as not pre registered so they can’t send villa details until registering card, left in limbo. Love the fact nobody is next to you. Loved the time when you could pay foe extra seat. Now Disney spring check in isn’t working to return home, went in 2019 pool so cold. Couldn’t stay in it. Good luck with your holiday. Hope Heathrow is more organised.

Great video mate, I stayed in dockside but was in 11118 in February which was universal view, isn’t the walk to the room long from the lobby.

I found it ok, i was in tower one, first lift on the right as you walk into tower one took me to my level and room. If you are at the end of the tower it can be a long walk

We fly to Orlando in May I’m dreading the pre flight test, that determine if you go or not. Cancelled twice due to covid. We booked a villa they sent me a pre checking in to do my cards but access couldn’t get through emailed them more than 6 times never got back to me. Virgin is crap, I even sent a message to customer services but nothing since February. They say 10 days before they will give us details of villa, hmm we will see. Good luck with your time with family, going to see aunt n uncle in winter haven near Legoland can’t wait so desperate to see them. Good luck to anyone flying with virgin, customer service really isn’t good at all.

With virgin what I have found from my recent November and this trip is that Virgin Atlantic have been great, virgin holidays have slipped, but I’m hoping it’s just a blip with things starting to open back up again, I do like Virgin. Hey Hey Thank you, much appreciated 👍. It was very surreal and just felt very unorganised. There was staff going round the que asking what time your flight was, and if it was close they would take them to the front…It was frustrating checking in early and having to wait in that que for so long!

Great video! What was the situation with boarding? I haven't flown in years and am planning to at the end of next week, are they very fussy about checking all the covid paperwork stuff now, or is it pretty smooth sailing?

Hey Thank you for watching and your comment. Pretty straight forward checking Covid Testing and Passport paperwork etc. This gets checked whilst queuing / waiting to get checked it. Pretty simple and stress free. Only advice I would give is have a paper copy of everything if you can. Some Airlines have an App where you can upload testing results etc ahead of time, but in my November and Recent trip I used Paper copies and was all good. Have a great time when it comes 👍

Hi Kevin, I’m just under 6ft 4inch, I can’t fault Delight, the space, comfort and service has been great in both my November & this trip, and I have travelled in all classes/cabins. Great value for money IMO 👍

Great video, quick question, do you think it'll be worth upgrading to premium? We've booked next May, economy delight going there and premium coming back. It was expensive to book premium both ways! But want to try closer to the time if it's cheaper.

Economy delight has the main benefits of premium in that you have priority check in and boarding . This for me makes the difference , been small the seat pitch is less important so delight for the little extra cost I think is well worth it but 1K extra for premium for us was not

Hi, I done my Tests at Birmingham Airport with Express Test (see my Pre-Travel Day video for more information if you wish). Documentation, vaccination status etc was all checked whilst in the que for checking in
