Playing a team that kicked u out of the winners bracket so you grind your way back in elimin games just to come back and beat them to win the US chip. That’s awesome. FLORIDA!
I’ve never understood the bracket system in LL. One team doesn’t lose but then loses once and they’re out meanwhile the other got to go through a losers bracket and try to redeem thier loss. Happens every year, the team that loses the first matchup ends up winning the second and on the last game while the other is told to kick rocks even tho it was thier first loss. 😂
I’ve watched baseball for 56 yrs and coached youth baseball for over decade including LL, Travel, etc and definitely this game goes down as one the greats

Wow what a game. I thought it would be a smooth game for Texas but got unlucky with pitchers going down and some errors. Amazing story for Florida! They’ll probably have a hard time tomorrow but great effort from both teams!
@@pjsavagejr Texas is split in half. There is Texas East and Texas West that play in the Southwest regional in Waco along with teams from Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Watched this game LIVE today. Was ready to turn it off and go mow the lawn. If you would have said Florida was going to win. I would have said you are nuts. Great game by BOTH teams. Texas is a tough team to beat. Have watched Florida come back to win a few times now. Yes Taiwan is a solid team top to bottom, but these boys are 11 and 12 years old. Things happen when they are under pressure. Florida boys need to get some GOOD rest tonight and bring their best bats tomorrow. NEVER GIVE UP. Anything can happen. GO FLORIDA. UPSET Taiwan and bring home the TITLE to the good old U.S.A. Texas, dont hang your heads at all. Just getting as far as you did is one hell of an accomplishment. Proud of ALL OF YOU.

Florida team had a great BASEBALL coach and Texas team had a below average DAD coaching that didn't even knows the rules of the game. Coaching and Texas #15 injury flipped this game..

Everyone arguing Texas should have to lose 2 games smh, FL had already played 2 games by the time texas played ONE, coming into this game FL was 5-1, no other team in the tournament had 4 wins, then they beat a 3 win Texas team to become 6-1.....please stop crying, Fl earned this world series win.
Do you not know how double-elimination tournaments work? Teams that lose will ALWAYS have to play an extra game to get into the championship game. That's just how the math works and one of the penalties of losing. It doesn't make a team better because they had to play an extra game. Ultimately, we have two teams that are both 1-loss teams, that both beat each other by 3 runs. For random fans like me with zero interest in either team, it's a real shame because we don't really have a clear best team. It's a tie and Florida basically gets the trophy on a coin flip. It would be better to play the actual 2nd game to make this a true double-elimination tournament.

Florida kids are soooo good in baseball ⚾️ it’s in their DNA. From the boys the girls men, women and the elders. Even though the Rays and Marlins don’t have fans to support and sucks sometime, still look at the talent from Florida academies and college such as USF, UCF, University of Florida, Miami U, Florida State and North Florida U. And have lots of baseball field all over Florida. Especially sting training stadium

Texas had an embarrassing last inning, failed catch in center, dropped ball at first, rf failed to know that runner on 3rd would tag up, missed ball at 3rd for easy pickoff......complete meltdown.. never should have been there
Correct. They completely lost focus. Gave FL 2 extra outs in the 5th and 6th because of poor play and the pitcher turning his back with a runner on 3rd was something he SHOULD have learned the FIRST time he pitched 3 or 4 yrs ago. The they also got outcoached by a mile.

What a turnaround Florida just grinded and figured it out that’s been there recipe for success when the going gets tough they’re at their best. I honestly don’t think they’ll beat Taiwan but man this sure has been a run to remember congrats Florida gonna be rooting hard for you tomorrow
Excellent analysis. It was obvious #15 carried this team 90% of the way so they HAD to use him a lot. But WHY did he have arm problems after 4 days rest? Either he didnt warm up properly before the game of didnt toss the ball around a little between starts?

I had my first mri on my elbow at 13. I tore my labrum when I was a senior in hs and last year in proball I dislocated my shoulder re tore my labrum in the front and back and tore my labrum off my glenoid. I threw hard as a kid and through my life always was abused for it and after a while ur arm will say enough and unfortunately I see this happening to this kid rn. It’s sad
@@fmilton20 100% and I’ve seen plenty of tournaments where the team coming from losers has to win two games vs the team coming from winners , not sure why that’s not the standard at the LLWS
Pitching depth is the most important aspect of these tourneys. If you win the winners bracket, you play less games and less frequently than the other team, so you ultimately have your best two or three pitchers available for the championship. The team out of the loser's bracket usually has only 1 of the their top pitchers available. As you can see, once Texas' ace went out, the game went downhill. Now imagine, both of these teams played again and had to use more pitchers. Then the winner had to go play Taiwan who has their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best pitchers available. It wouldn't be fair to that team to have to play Taiwan. They'd get creamed. Ppl complain about this every year, but its the result of LL using a two-tiered system which allows the US to have it's own bracket. This is the best way they've found to keep the playing field level between the international and US champs. Some years, the US bracket will be more difficult to win, other years the international. If you made each side truly double elimination, you'd basically build in a benefit for the team who plays on the weaker side of the bracket. If you win the winners bracket you get a pretty heavy advantage, you get depth, it's up to you to use that advantage to win, if you don't, tough. Yes, it kinda sucks, but it's not like you get nothing for coming out of the winners bracket, you actually get a pretty big advantage in LLWS where one or two elite pitchers can basically win a game themselves.

This isn't rigged, the Pros supporting the FL team have nothing to do with why they won, pros endorsed TX also. FL is and was the better team, handle the loss like the adults you should be and support FL in the ship.
