MPC Round 2 issued an actual 1/72 scale version (14 inches) of the basic Eagle and the lab pod/booster ship. They're basically pantographed-down versions of the 22 inch studio model. They're stunning!

It's called counting... I made the original in '75. It was Airfix though. Don't recall any other make.

Amber is gorgeous!!!! Talking of Airfix, all this hype for what is basically a re-release. Can someone please do a 1/48 Puma (about to go out of service) and/or Gazelle (gone fome service)

The 22" eagle version is a 1/2 scale version of the filming 44" model. The figures are around 1/48 scale'ish. Its a good kit a little fiddly in places with the rods especially around the engines.
