This was a lucky day for me, finding your first flosstube video from September 2023. Loved all the diverse projects you’re working on. There is a saying that everyone should have a Teresa Wentzler piece they are working on at any given time… you are such an over-achiever by having several - I am in awe. I subscribed to your channel and will now check out the rest of your videos since this one was very enjoyable.
Just realised one of my longest-term stitchy friends has a Flosstube so I had to come and look!! Enjoying your WIP/PHD parade and it’s fun seeing some projects that I had forgotten about that were so popular, a couple of them I think I even started myself!!
I'm still learning the ropes, took me ages to pluck up the courage to do this first one. I do hope to get to some of them eventually. Thanks for watching x
Love your WIPs and it gives me hope that you have some that are approaching 20years old as I've got a couple hitting 10 that I still love but just don't have time for. You did make me chuckle when you talked about the ducks laughing at your partner as we have a duck pond opposite our house and somedays when either myself or my husband have done something silly, we comment and say look even the ducks are laughing at you 😂
Enjoyed your video! I like a dragon HAED that I found and was very drawn to it, even though I’m not a fan of dragons. It’s called ONCE UPON A DRAGON AS. I think I’m drawn to it because it’s a dragon, face to face with a pretty woman and it appears (to me) to be looking at her in a lovingly way. I think it’s just a beautiful piece and I hope to someday find someone stitching it or sharing it completed. I’m too inexperienced to try it just yet. But I’m hoping to someday. It should be soon though, cause I’m not a spring chicken anymore… 😂 and it will take years to complete. I’m a new follower and looking forward to watching more of your videos!
There is a HAED group on Facebook so there could be someone that’s either working on it or has finished it. They are stitched the same way as everything else, one stitch at time Thank you for watching
I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. I stitched Teresa wentzler many years ago but I don’t have the patience to stitch her designs anymore. Now I prefer monochromatic designs - modern folk embroidery has so many beautiful ones and I want to stitch them all! Thanks for sharing.
My mother stitched the little bear, and I have a love of Teresa Wentzler All still ‘PHD’s. I love dragons, living in Wales, it’s easy. Loved your first Flosstube, I hope there will be many more.
You should pull one out and give it some love. Wales is one of my favourite places to visit and go as often as possible. Thank you 🙂 planning the next one which will hopefully be on Sunday
Hi Lindsey. Quite enjoyed your first video and seeing all of your PHD's (catchy name). I have several TWs in my collection, with one ready to go ' The Guardian. Just haven't started her yet, so I really liked your collection. I live in US, but am from L'Pool (Fazerkley and Aintree to be precise) which I understand is quite near Cheshire? Looking forward to your next posting. Hope you show us some of your finishes as well. Steph
Thank you. My partner happened to see a pic of guardian last night while looking for a pic of mermaid to show him and a hig hint was dropped 😂 Yes Liverpool is quite close to me, 40 mins or so by car and about 30 by train
Wanted to let you know I enjoyed your floss tube very much. I do have a question, what is the name of the pattern for the picture above your head? I really like it. Thanks for your time.
