Loved your fangirl story about LOTR - I am obsessed with the movies & have watched them more times than I can count lol. I think the thread you chose for the piece is perfect!! It totally looks like fire! And I am getting so so tempted by Princess Elliana! It would be my first Mirabilia & starting one is a teensy bit intimidating to me lol

Thank you! I’m such a novice, that it’s always a surprise if my dyeing projects turn out like I want them to. I usually can’t go wrong with blue and purple. 😀

I love Princess Elliana and I'm so excited you started it so I can watch someone else do it. That fabric definitely looked gray. Isn't it frustrating when the camera doesn't pick things up properly? We are still struggling with light and color on our videos. Looking forward to Templar.

Lighting is such a difficult thing. I have a cheap ring light, but then I have the reflection in my glasses. Oh well. I can’t film this weekend, so I’m hoping that Templar will get started before the next video.

If your missing thread is DMC - let me know and I can toss a skein in the mail to you in the morning. Then pass along the favor sometime in the future to someone else. You are really making me consider slowing down on my HAED and pulling out the Mirabilia patterns that have been languishing in my drawer

Thank you. I think I found a skein that is the right color. You should definitely get out a Mira! Although HAEDs are great, too. Decisions, decisions...
