Your videos are always so interesting. I absolutely love that feather tree! You must not take it apart! Add a heart at Valentines, a bunny in the spring, etc., it is just stunning! Love your quilt too!

I have been just an observer of your doll quilt project. I am finishing up my fourth quilt ever so I appreciated seeing the various binding techniques that you demonstrated. I just purchased the angel that Country Sampler shows in their newsletter clutching seasonal samplers so I think I need to make some small seasonal quilts! I loved seeing your projects, and especially hearing your take on Elizabeth Hall but THAT TREE BE STILL MY HEART!!!!! The thimble bells! The mercury glass strings! Gloriousness all over the place, and so fabulously and uniquely you. Only you could have made this, and it is a masterpiece. Don't put it away - leave it out all year! Merry Christmas, my friend!

I am enjoying every minute of it right now, and I’m afraid by June I might be sick of it! The thought of dismantling it just Makes me feel kind of sick so I think it’s going to stay in its current state for quite some time. I am fascinated by Elizabeth Hall and her family’s work. I find it so interesting to see what people keep and pass on to future generations. I’m so glad you’re getting lots of stitching done !!!! I actually made the thimble decorations out of factory worker thimbles that already had a hole in the top. I am not a jeweler, and it was challenging, but I love how they turned out. I hope 2024 brings many blessings to you and your family. Perhaps our paths will cross.

The original Quilt, that I was reinterpreting was stitched on a light muslin fabric. I chose a Kona cotton, called antique white. It has a slight tan coloration to it. I am anxious to try another quilt, using a light background, and lots of red appliqué! Here’s to a new year full of Stitching ❤️❤️

Almost all my wips are big. I think it is because I only started cross stitching in 2020. The bigger the better. I’m also 70 and have way too many nick nacks so I don’t do many smalls.
