I love to see one over one skin. I never knew I could do 2 over 1 Continental stitch for skin! I used to do needlepoint so this would be very comfortable for me. Thank you for making this video!!!! If I ever do skin, that is what I will do!!!
Ohhhh my goodness! You have great eyes, I have to wear Reading glasses. Thank you for the video, I will be trying this stitch on my next project. Thank you again 😊
I cannot wait to try this on my current MIrabilia, Ophelia! She has very little skin so I think this will be a good one to try, I have a lot of experience tent stitching on HAEDs, but the tips here were great, especially blending the corners of the colors!
Thank you for making this video! This was exactly what I was looking for and it helped to see this technique in action. Now I'll have the courage to try this by myself as well. ☺
Thanks Luda, i know it's difficult to film that way and i really enjoyed seeing how you stitch the Mirabilia skin, definitely picked up some good tips :)
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. I am a fairly new stitcher, and your explanation and demonstration is very helpful to me. Looking forward to future videos.
Люда, огромное спасибо за подробное видео. Еще раз понаблюдала за Вашей прекрасной техникой. С нетерпением ждем окончания процесса, что бы увидеть всю эту красоту целиком.
This video was so helpful. I am going to try this on my next Mirabilia. Thank you. I would love to hear more about the benefit of doing the conversion to Splendor and how you do it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share that with us l do my skin one over one full cross on 28ct at the moment l am stitching legs l didn't out line. But when l get ready to start face l will try what you said thankyou
That's such a good idea to do a small stitch of the other color (not skin) to make the line less blocky. Thanks for this video! Can you tell me the colors of splendor you use for skin?
Hi Luda. I enjoyed your video. It was very good. I love all your videos, even the ones that are not in English! Maybe I will do this on my next mirabilia. I used 2 over 2 for the one I’m currently working on because I thought petite point would take too long. What are your thoughts about it taking more time?
Nice video. Thank you. :) I have a lavender and lace pattern in the works and I want to do 1 over 1 skin. While I get the concept, and can do it - I keep confusing myself on the actual *DOING* of it. Putting down the temporary backstitch is a great idea to prevent mistakes. You illustrate the technique very well and I like your method of 'smoothing' the lines. I think the only thing I"d change is I prefer to do full crosses. Personal preference there. Though, I guess that's not as possible with two threads. :) But you're doing a splendid job.
