Oh Sally, you are under the weather at the moment, and I feel for you. Glad you are still stitching and your projects are lovely, the Long Dog will be stunning. Stitch what you feel like stitching and don't forget to get out in the fresh air for a nice walk. I sound like my dear Mum! Keep stitching if you can.

Thank you so much Linda. I love getting out in the fresh air so try and get out for a walk weather permitting of course! We were up on Bempton Cliffs on Thursday and it was so cold but really enjoyed it. Happy stitching 😊

Take care Sweet Sally…..wish you weren’t so blue….praying your cough gets better - I know it’s so irritating, I’ve had that in the past where it just seems to linger… Abby is young and life throws us a lot of curves so she better toughen up or it will eat her up….beautiful stitching and great finishes….God Bless❣️❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful pillows and framing Sally. I still have a few to frame. I think you've made great progress just remember to enjoy the process and not put too much pressure to always get lots done. I'm speaking from experience I was upset with myself for not getting more done. That I took the enjoyment out of Stitching. I'm so sorry to hear they still don't know what's causing the coughing. Hopefully soon. Take care and enjoy stitching and reading

Thank you so much Ruth. I do try not to put pressure on myself. I have found that with HAED Guardian and wanting to get that finished in 2 years. Now I don’t want to pick it back up again after taking a break from it. I think as long as I finish it at some point that will be fine. Happy stitching 😊

Gorgeous finishes Sally. You do inspire me to try and get to the finishes hanging behind my door. Love watching your progress on your Wips, especially your first Long Dog. Hang in there with your cough, my Hubby had been fighting his for a long while, but his Specialist seems to have found the combination of medication that works for him, hoping your Doctor finds the right combo for you very soon. Lovely finishes Sally, love the cushions. I had a terrible cough for a long time and it was acid reflux and the tablets called cimetidine helped ease it so hopefully it works for you ❤️

Oh Sally dont be down about your cough I've been through the same lots of tests x rays and camera you name it nothing showed up nothing worked eventually months later the cough went yours will too I'm sure it's probably a viral thing anyway I'm glad you did show us all your stit hang today they are lovely. Hello Sally. I have gotten woefully behind on flosstube watching. Today and yesterday I have binge watched your last five videos. Your cross stitch is advancing nicely and it has been fun to watch the stitching advance (as if by magic😉) with each new session. About your cough, I know it does not seem to you that anything has changed, but as I watched your stitching grow, I have noticed less throat clearing and stopping for coughing. Whenever I get infections that cause a cough, it takes literally months to go away. This is totally unscientific, but I noticed that if I felt a cough coming on I would breathe in through my throat with a nice long breath to soothe my throat. Many times that would stop the cough. I have heard that if a cough goes on long enough it becomes a habit for your throat/body. The big breath intake soothed my throat and stopped the cough reflex. So, that little piece of advice is worth what you paid for it-nothing- but nothing is lost in giving it a try!😊👍🤗

Firstly you should never apologise for just being how you are Sally. People have down times and you shouldn’t feel you have to hide that. So sorry that your daughter has had all this stress but maybe in a few weeks she will have got into the routine at the new store and might even meet some new colleagues whose company she likes - transitions are tricky but she’ll get there. Your horrible cough actually reminds me of the one which my Dad developed in the months after my Mum died. He took Omeprazole on the basis that it could be reflux but it took time for it to have an effect and also I remain convinced that it was exacerbated by the stress of bereavement - so perhaps the drugs plus your daughter getting settled in the new job and a bit of actual Spring instead of this cold wind will see it improve 🤞🏻. I just love your Dreaming Girl pillow finish! She’s just gorgeous - and all those other FFOs too! Super productive. Have yourself some tea, some cake and spend some time in the Discworld (love those books - Going Postal was one of my favourites). And, of course, happy stitching.

Thank you so much Alison. I’m hoping that warmer days might help as well as the medication and less stress! Abi does know the people in the other store so I think once she settles into a routine she’ll be OK. It’s just the way they’ve even treated and the stress of a different routine and wondering if they’ll do the same once the lease is up there. Just keeping fingers crossed! I do love my Dreaming Girls finish. I love stitching Barbara Ana Designs. Happy stitching 😊

Your ffo's are lovely! Just wondering.....how do you display your pillows, specifically your medium size ones? I always struggle with displaying mine. They are too big for a dough bowl and too small for a couch. Just curious as to what you do?

Thank you so much. I usually display my pillows wherever I can fit them in. I have a cabinet that I pop them on and I change them out for the seasons of they’re seasonal pillows. Happy stitching 😊

Aw. That blinking cough. Have they ruled out asthma/allergies? I know you were t keen on flixonase but would you try that for a month to see? I take an inhaler and flixonase and an antihistamine daily and usually have no cough. I stop taking them and within three days I start coughing. I feel for you. And Abby. It has been a bit of a bastard of a year. 😫

Thank you so much Leigh. I did have an inhaler which I was told to try for 10 days and I’ve tried an over the counter allergy med which did nothing. It’s all stemmed from the cold/ cough I had in December. Abi will bounce back but it’s just been so stressful. They’ve been treated like dirt over the last couple of months. It’s been a bit crap hasn’t it! Take care. Happy stitching 😊
