Love the new pieces, Chrissy, and hearing about all your adventures. I am working on Home is Coffee for my coffee themed classroom. I think my fabric might be a little too small (I swear, I measured!) so I think I am going to leave off the lamp and do the words in a backstitching script to make sure it fits. I’ll let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed.
Linda, my 40yo son got shingles on half his face this year. They were worried about his eye too. Thankfully, his eye was fine. He was out of work for almost a month. I hope your hubby feels better soon!
My friend got back from a Florida trip recently and had a horrible upper respiratory illness. She ended up with an inhaler, steroids, and a z-pac. So weird to hear you talk about you and Annie having the same issues.
I had shingles at an early age (50's) - 3 times - and the 2nd and 3rd was on te left side of my face. I know it's a real pain and I hope your hubby is feelin a lot better now. I got irritated with a scab from the pimples (or whatever they'e called) and after three weeks pulled the dark skin off. DON'T DO THAT. It WILL lave a scar
