Your projects are all so beautiful Olivia!!! Elizabeth Furniss is so gorgeous and I love seeing your progress on her! I love your idea of commemorating King Charles' coronation! You are such a joy to visit with! Thanks as always and happy stitching!
Thanks Olivia for the enjoyable visit…I love the lilies…I have had them planted in everyone of our house’s…they are hardy and come in lots of colors…we have many of the Irises…the multiply so quickly…neighbors stop by when we dig them up to get some…1,2,&5…lots of beautiful gifts…loved everything you shared, your stitching is beautiful…best wishes and happy stitching ❤❤
I look forward to a lawn of forget-me-nots in the spring. Our home is in a woodland setting and, while we have more moss than grass, the tiny purple and white flowers look so pretty scattered throughout our front yard. Thank you for showing all your beautiful stitching. It was a treat to sit and stitch on my project (a garden design bell pull from Told in a Garden) while watching your video. Happy stitching!
If I was a flower I would choose a rose, they remind me of my mom who had a rose garden when I was growing up! I now have a rose garden in her honor! 2
Gorgeous stitching and a very enjoyable video, I am not a rose person, but I love a yellow rose as it reminds me of my Dad, He was a great gardener and always loved to see Spring arriving.
I think sunflowers are beautiful. Of course they remind me of summer and sunshine, which I love. 1, 2, or 5. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed seeing your progression
I have finally caught up with my desired watching of flosstube. Jan/Feb are always a sort of catch-up months for me after the holidays. Love all of your current stitching and I was tickled that you made some reading errors and decided to just go with it!! If I were a flower, I would love to be a giant Sunflower! I love sunflowers, they follow the sun and they feed all of my sweet bird friends that visit daily. They just make me so happy to see them enjoy the seeds. #5 Sending you warm hugs from sunny Arizona.
Hi Olivia….Geranium, that’s the flower for me. As I live in Arizona, we have winter flowers, and geraniums do very well. They are so bright, colorful and happy looking, and can make a very dismal, gloomy day, cheerful! #1 or #4. Your videos are GREAT…..you are so sweet and personable. I love seeing your work, both cross stitch and quilts. Thank you for info on your rotation…..interesting!🤔💕
Hydrangeas love the big fullness of presence in the garden and smells so good. Love all their colors 2. Small , medium and large make a good balance of projects.
Absolutely love the Chiefs as I live in Lawrence, Kansas. My son is a total Chargers fan. So enjoy seeing your cross stitch. You definitely keep me motivated in cross stitch and quilts. Thanks Olivia.
Really enjoy your flosstube video!! I have withdrawals, just waiting for the next one...lol!! Your work is very inspirational, and I wish I could stitch all that I see. If I could be a flower, it would have to be a bleeding heart. My mother had many of these growing around her house. Such a delicate little flower to begin a new season. I especially love numbers ❤️ #4 ❤️ and #5. Thank you for sharing your love of stitching with us all.
If I could be a flower it would be a Heavenly Blue Morning Glory. I so love the vibrant blue color and the white star in the center of each beautiful bloom! I used to start many different heirloom annuals from seed, especially the fragrant ones that you can’t find in any greenhouse. It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it so much!
I would be a hyacinth or a daffodil. Hyacinth’s smell so good but the blooms don’t last very long. Daffodils are another favorite and reminds me of all of the people who have passed or survived cancer. Thank you for another great Flosstube! I would love #1 or #4
I'm with you on spiders and also snakes, definitely snakes. I love lilac. The back of our yard is filled with lilacs that I can remember my grandparents planting and whenever I smell the lilac it reminds me of my family. 1, 5
Loved your stitching, it’s moving along, congratulations! If we’re a flower….I would be a clematis, so quiet in the winter and it explodes with color and beauty in the spring. 2 and 5 Thank you so much, stay well!
4 5 I think I would be a geranium. I keep them alive through the winter indoors and plant them outside for the summer. They bloom on and off all winter...as lonf as they have sun and water. Don't we all want to bloom all year long? So enjoy your videos. I have Elizabeth Furness, but need to get fabric for it. Soo pretty! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets my symbols mixed up. I really like your house with the reversed brick and mortar!
If I were to pick a favorite flower it would be a tulip. I don’t know if it signifies spring for me or the simplicity of the flower. I was able to finally carve out a tulip bed/ iris bed in the front of our house about 5 years ago. I think even my husband looks forward to the blooms. First group has a deep coral color, then purple, then white. They time themselves really well. I am interested in 1, 2, 3, & 4. Thank you as always.
If I were a flower, I think a Hyacinth in purple since it arrives early in the spring and makes me soooo happy. I was thinking of a rose but that would make me "high maintenance", lol. 2 4 always love your videos
If I were a flower, it would be any day lilly. I love mine but I’m partial to orange as they adorn roadsides in Michigan all over the place. I ordered the book you received from Amazon and look forward to picking a quilt out of it for my next quilt!
I would be a Gerber Daisy. They are bright and cheerful and come in many colors! I have bought all my vegetable seeds and will be starting them by the end of the week. I plan on doing some winter sowing of some perennial seeds today. That way they will be ready to plant this spring. I had my Dad help me yesterday with cutting the milk jugs. He likes to do projects like that. 1, 2, 4, 5
My favorite flowers are orchids because they last a long time, come in many colors a have no scent (good for those people with allergies). 1, 5 Love your story about being a fan of the Chiefs.🙂
I would be a peony, where I live they bloom around Memorial Day so people would think of me on Memorial Day after I am gone. 2 4 Your All Joy for Thine and Pin Keepers are going to be beautiful. I would like another dough bowl and put small pillows with sewing theme in it. Thank you for making these videos. Also I miss the quilts.
Hi Olivia, thanks for sharing your current wonderful projects. So totally understand your Valentine's new start. Same here - in my case I was debating for months to start Isabella's heart by MFE. ;-) I think i'd be a glorious yellow daffodil if I could. Welcoming the sun and spring. No. 5 would be so wonderful as I love the combo of red and teal. Have a wonderful weekend and loads of stitching time. Hugs from over the pond. Nad!ne.
If I were a flower I would be a Texas Mountain Laurel, which is a tree, it’s a Texas native, beautiful purple flowers that smell like grape soda!! Love!! 5
2,3,5….🙏🏻praying for #5! Hello my distant stitchy-friend. I think I would be lilac… they are my favorite color (purple) and they smell amazing and I always like to smell nice, myself, so perfect fit for me! Have a good stitchy weekend 🪡
Fabulous stitching Olivia, I'm feel so connected with you as your choices of fabric and floss colours echo mine, I love colour so I think I would be Peony as they come in such beautiful shades. 1.3.4.please.
I would definitely be a Zinnia. I have several flower beds that I sow hundreds of zinnia seeds each season of all colors. They love the sun and our Texas heat and bloom till early fall. I enjoy all there colors in the garden but also enjoy them cut and in my home. They make me smile. 1,2,3,4,5, love your videos. Loved your new look today. Hair braided, denim jacket and of course red Chiefs shirt. Miriam in Texas.
Spring bring some beautiful colors and I absolutely love hydrangeas, tulips and sterling roses. Sterling roses as they are considered rare I believe. 5 please.
This one is a tough question as I love two flowers (pansies as they always look like they are smiling, and sunflowers as they are always reaching for the sunlight) 3, 4, 5. Hope this week you get more stitchy time
Too funny, before you even commented I was thinking of hydrangeas, of which my first plant was from my neighbor who was such a dear lady, and I loved that it was a white bush that was ever so hardy. My hubby first connected with me by hydrangeas. 5
Great great show. I have a big fear of snakes so I get your fear of spiders. I would be an African Violet so that you would smile at me year round no matter what the weather is outside. Have a great two weeks.
Autumn for me here! If I was a flower, I would love to be a tulip but I am probably too understated and shy to be a tulip! In reality, I am probably a small and quiet flower like the tiny daisies that pop up in your lawn. 1, 2 please.
I would be a fern leaf peony. I just love the fern leafs on this beautiful colored peony. My grandmother gave me a start of this and I still have it. Number 4 is my pick.
Love your beautiful still pictures in the beginning of your podcast! I started zinnias from seed packets last year and they were so pretty so I would have to say Zinnias are my favorite flower now. I do have hydrangeas also that always come back every year and so very pretty in pink. Have a blessed week!! 5
As always, I am blown away by your stitching and the progress you make! If I were a flower, I would like to be a daffodil with lily of the valley a very close second! The daffodils are so cheery, but lily of the valley smell so sweet and have great connotations. Too hard to pick between- sorry! 1, 3, 5
Thanks so much Olivia, another great video!! I would be a white carnation! The white ones have the most scent, I was told! And it's true! I had them at my wedding! My Mother wore a carnation scented fragrance called Blue Carnation. It smelled wonderful! 1, 3.
Enjoy my Saturday mornings when I stitch and watch your video. I would be a Gerber Daisy, especially Yellow or soft Pink. 5 Thanks for another fabulous video.
Love all of the projects you are working on. I think I am going to set up a schedule for some of the bigger charts. My favorite flower has always been Marigolds. They are so colorful, hardy and I love their smell. I do love mums too. 1 2 3 4 5
Numbers 1, 4 or 5 please :) Hydrangeas are also my favorite flowers, but I’m not very successful at growing them. Baby Blue is my favorite color because it reminds me of my great grandmother’s house with a huge bush on each side of her front porch.
Thank you for another great video. like you I also cross stitch and quilt. Working on Tula pinks butterfly with my stash fabric. Your cross stitches are always so beautiful and your very generous with your goodies. Lol I like #2 and #4. See you next time. OOps Had to edit this, forgot the question already, lol. I would be a lilac, they are my favorites.
I think I would be a tulip. I love their resilience and persistence, coming up through the cold ground every spring. And they come in so many colors! Love your videos, Olivia-I have found so many new patterns and designers from watching you. 1,2, or 5.
I would be a morning glory. I'm definitely a morning person, fading in the evening I love to look out my kitchen window and see the morning glories on their trellis reaching up to God and loving that morning sun. 1 2 3 4 5
I love hydrangeas. We have four bushes and they all started out from the same bush. Every year they range from bright blue to deep maron depending on the conditions. I would be a peony rose as I love them. Can't get them to survive in our garden though. Look forward to seeing your celebration of King Charles coronation on your piece. # 5 looks fun to stitch
Fun video, I recently did a wrong color and happy that I did, it all worked out.🏵Spring was always my Mom's favorite season. I'd be a rose - - I'm a Colorful funny person, use lightly Scented perfumes, love being Outdoors and my Thorns will always protect me. 🌹
Well if I was a flower, I'd want to be an orchid - VERY high maintenance and only blooming when I (emphasis on the "I") want to. After worrying about everyone and everything all my life, I'd like my gardener to have to worry about ME! hahaha! 5
I loved your video as usual. I’m interested in number 1 Cornelius from the Chicken Cub by Lori Holt. If I were a flower, I would be an Iris that’s lavender in color. My Father had a garden of Irises of all colors and kinds. He was a Minister and He always said he felt close to God with His hands in the dirt and surrounded by Iris. Also my husband died a little over a year ago and Iris was his favorite flower also. He actually planted some lavender ones about 2 months before he died. I myself love them because of their delicate beauty and I can remember Daddy cutting Iris on Sunday morning to take to church. Very fond and loving memories are connected to Iris for me. Thank you Olivia, I look forward to all your videos. My name is Tammie Unthank
Loved your video! You always lift my spirits. I have started flower plants from seed because they are so expensive at the nursery. There's a certain joy and pride in seeing something you started from seeds grow and reward you every year with flowers. Good luck with yours!
I would be a daffodil! My mom always told me to stand up straight! And I like to be first ( and it's my birthday flower ) 1 4 5 Thanks again for all you do!
I don't like spiders either, they can jump...My mom was also terrified of. Someone at work pranked her with a hairy plastic tarantula and it scared her so much, she was determined to get over her fear. So she placed into her pocketbook and every time she opened, she would react. But eventually, she overcame. My mom would have reached her 100th birthday April 7th. I plan to do several pieces in her honor. One has a spider but I bought a brooch so I wouldn't have to stitch. It's called Arc of White and is a beautiful design. I do enjoy looking at their webs. If I had to choose one flower, it would be my TN state giant purple irises 💕 (not interested in the packages though.)
