I just love your videos. We are drawn to many of the same patterns, and I could listen to your beautiful northeastern accent all day long! I love how involved and dedicated you are in the lives of your grandchildren. They are so blessed to have you. I pray mine one day live closer so I can be helpful to my children by babysitting. I love seeing your beautiful projects and hearing about your plans. I would love seeing your box of finished projects. I turned 70 in August. We moved from California to Washington State in June to be closer to our daughter and her family, they have 5 girls, 14-4, they do keep me busy, but love it.

Hi Lori, I would love see the things you have stitched and not finished. It would probably be good for you too. It might encourage or motivate you to finish them fully. I cannot believe that you will 70! You are such a beautiful, energetic woman and certainly look so much younger!

I love your record keeping; I hadn't thought of making a list of projects and how they might fit into an acrostic to have ahead of time. I'm a member of the WIP Warriors group and they do a monthly Scattergories challenge. I think a list like that would help me and it would be fun to work on when I don't feel like actually stitching. Blessings be Thine is one of my favorite Blackbirds. I really should work that into my starts for this year. I appreciate that both you and Vicki remind us all how beautiful standard fabrics are. When you watch videos it can be so easy to forget that and think that over dyed fabrics are superior in some way. I go back and forth between 28 and 32 count being my favorite count.. right now it's 32, but I do love 28 count too. 🪡👠

I adore your videos and your record keeping. Please don’t worry about ironing your fabric never looks crazy wrinkled. I’m astonished that you’re turning 70 I honestly never would have guessed even close to that. You look wonderful. I’m turning 60 on the 12th and I wish I looked as good as you. I’ve lost a lot of weight these last few years due to a condition called Crohn’s disease. Not great for my skin as I’m always fighting dehydration. Anyways thank you for another inspiring video. Please, please do an "under the bed box" video! I would love it! I'm so glad you wore your beautiful sparkling shirt today, it looks fabulous on you. I can tell that you worked in a school office because of your organization. I'm a retired middle school teacher and office staff like you are angel and definitely the glue that holds the entire school together. You work with administrators, faculty, parents, children, and many others making your job more of a challenge than most people realize. You're an organizational gem!!!!

Lori, Congratulations on getting to your 70th year (I am ahead of you). If you want to celebrate your birthday in stitching, I would suggest that you choose 7 special projects, one for each decade. That is much more manageable, and you can still celebrate. You are really a planner. You outpace me by far. Some people think that I have elaborate plans, but you really take the cake. Haha. Wonderful to see you Lori and I knew immediately you were celebrating the New Year with your lovely top. Yes, now that I am retired, I feel like I wear the same casual or exercise clothing unless I do anything exciting, so I totally understand what you were saying. Great planning and organization to start off another year with all your wonderful stitching. I do a lot of the same thing, especially writing down what patterns my threads are in so I can pull one if necessary. Good luck with the sleepover and all your babysitting, and hopefully all goes well. I'd love to see your "under the bed box of finishes"!

I had no problem downloading Nora Corbett, I did type free charts first. I'm 70 as well coming this April, I will not even think about starting that many. I'm a purpose stitcher, I pick things I stitch for people . This year I've decided to make a project for each of my grandchildren, 6 there are. But if all goes well, I can start some ornaments later.

I actually do similar journal keeping, but this year I decided to buy the book of days, & already figured out I really didn’t need it. Glad I bought a new journal in December just in case! Hi Lori Great video. I was thinking of your comments about turning 50….60…..70. I saw a video where someone was turning 60 this year so in honor of that she started 6 new pieces. You could start 7 in honour of your birthday instead of 70…. That would be perhaps more doable. Anyway just a different way of looking at milestone birthdays. Yes could we see what under your bed in a box. Also the Nora Corbett free patterns I saw on Casa Cenias online cross-stitch site the free Nora’s for instant download. So maybe others could get these free patterns there. Anyways, thanks for the great video. You always inspire me to stitch. I started in the centre and the straw around the crib is very confetti heavy but I will l continue with it between other projects. One day it will be finished. Hi Lori, Glad you had a good holiday. After your last video I wanted the little free Mira's. It took awhile but I figured it out. On my Samsung this is how I got it: 1. Press and hold the download button until a small screen pops up. 2. Press "Save" 3. A small window will pop up that says such and such design can't be downloaded securely. BLOCK ALLOW 4. Press ALLOW 5. It will start downloading. I haven't had any trouble with any of them. Happy Stitching ❤❤❤
