Fabulous to see your smiling face today! After nearly a month of daily videos I went into a bit of Michelle withdrawal! You did such a fantastic job with all of your Vlogmas videos they became addictive! Now I will have to get back on the Sunday Morning Briefing train. I can make the adjustment. All will be right in the world of FlossTube once again. ( Insert deep sigh here. ) Your MFE / Evertote advent project is lovely. I cannot wait to see the finished companion piece. What a treat to see Bristol Orphanage Samplers in person! I often wonder if anything from my ( Boomer ) generation will be around in 200 years. Many people know the price of everything and the value of nothing. It’s reflected in our landfills. Have a wonderful week! I’m staying classy in New Hampshire while it’s snowing outside. It looks like enough snow for decent snow angels, snowmen, and sledding … if you’re not in your Fall & Break A Hip years! 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Loved your new sampler. Thanks for sharing. When I got my Fox and Rabbit fabric this past week, I had to look up Spinifex, an Australian scrub bush. New to me. Beautiful fabric. Really appreciated the info on the Bristol exhibition. Great video as always!

Glad you're back. Happy New Year. I recently saw a wreath decorated with wooden spools with narrow ribbon wrapped around them. That would be a nice addition to your glass jar also. Keep stitching

Beautiful finishes, loved hearing about the Bristol Facebook site, and Teresa Littles spreadsheet. On your Blessing Sampler it appears you noticed a red dot, hopefully it is thread. I bought a yard of Tabby Cat linen and found a few tiny red dots. Hopefully I can work around the dots. Happy New Year.

What a lovely surprise didn't expect a floss today. The Harriet sampler I've fallen head over heals with, in it's raggy state it is so beautiful. I am stitching on my Blessing sampler, totally winging it and have not fixed on what the words will be but determined to have it finished by the end of Jan, 1st stitch was on the 1st, so thank you for the idea enjoying this very much. Hope you had a wonderful time with loved ones.

I’m glad you purchased Ann Jonson! That brings me to the next question,…was it you that talked about samplers with houses that have blue roofs? I’m trying to find the video with that talk about it, and can’t seem to find it. I’m trying to research it, but have only found about three regions in Wales that has blue roof slate. The Wishing Thorn also has Ada Davies which has,…a blue roof. Hopefully you can solve my inquiry.

I did mention it because I’d heard it from someone else but it was in relation to Scottish samplers not welsh ones. Interested to hear if you find anything about Welsh samplers and roof colour 😃
