Hi ladies, just wanted to let you know that after asking you for help to finding a friend to stitch with,I was contacted by a lady ,her name is Lisa Kaple She invited to a little shop in my town where a group of ladies get together and stitch. I had no idea this place existed . The shop owner sells cross stitch and crochet and knitting supplies .The shop is called Bluegrass blessings and is located in Greenup Kentucky . Thank you ladies your help!! I now have a whole group of stitch friends .
LOL I'm dead! When you said to Pam about buying the fabric... Just cuz you wanted to spend money I think! 😆 That's me all the time when I buy fabric- Now I will forever hear Steph's voice in my head when I'm buying fabric!
Every week you two brighten my day. I don’t always get to watch all at once but I fit you all in between my Monday conf calls. I was actually late to one call this week and said “so sorry my meeting with Pam and Steph went long.” Hope you have a wonderful trip and look forward to watching whenever the next video is posted.
I love Dixie Darlin in Pigeon Forge Tennessee!! I was so happy to hear you mention that wonderful shop . I'll probably never get to go there again ( I live in northern Missouri), but it was awesome!!!
"It was me, it was me" that's what I was yelling at my TV when I saw the Christmas Box from Jeannette Douglas. I had just gotten that pattern and showed it on my last flosstube. LOL! 🦋🌸🦋🌸
As usual, your framed pieces are amazing! Giggled and giggled at the two of you. Mom and I are 89 and 69 and we have that same kind of relationship as y’all do! A blessing for sure! Enjoy the retreat. Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Cracked me up at the end, Stephanie. Those that missed the sticker 4-1-1 will have serious FOMO. Love hearing about it and that you are enjoying with your besties is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Pam, your TPP Home series is just stunning! Steph, your stickers & Erin Condren planner are so awesome! Welcome to the planner world, friend! You’re about to have loads and loads of fun! 😄💗 Meline
Lol, it’s worth it to stay until the end! Stephanie, thanks for the idea to do both the book of days for stitchy memories and also a weekly memory book! I already bought a cute booklet-type calendar for 2022 and using it for that purpose will let me get the book of days for crossstitch too! Genius! Love everything you showed that was back from the framer! Enjoy your retreat.
Good Morning Ladies! I plan to watch you while doing laundry on Monday mornings. This is my new habit. You make it a LOT more fun! It is so true, hard to concentrate on stitching while watching you two! And who cares if laundry is folded neatly anymore! Beautiful stitching this week and enjoyed the history lesson. Have safe enjoyable travels!
Kia ora, ladies! That sure was a lot of great content! Thank you for keeping me company on another night in. I did some sewing, had myself a wee drink, and just chilled out to enjoy. Continue to love your work, every week. The ONLY FlossTube channel I bother to keep up with of late, and always worth it! :-) Happy Stitching, Melissa.
Awesome video as usual! Love you ladies and all your content and humour. I am stitching Nevermore on 40 ct. Ancient and it is my absolute favourite fabric! Stickers are the bomb! The end
Hello Ladies. Wonderful video as usual... you are both amazing. Love all your framed pieces especially I'll Be Home Series. I just started this piece and finished the March house and was very proud of myself for this accomplishment. I texted a picture of it to my sister. Well, I got the wrong number... I get an answer back saying ''Who is this''. I thought to myself well, maybe I can make a stitchy friend so ask Do you Stitch? I get the answer saying ''No, I'm into steel and grease''. Hahaha it was a guy who has a trucking company and lives on a farm. We continued a text conversation for awhile and he said he loved what I did and do I do commission work. I will not take on commission work for him because I am too busy but do think that small mistakes can take us in so many interesting directions. Keep up the good work and see you next video.
Oh my goodness! I was raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and one of the tourist attractions in days of yore was an Ostrich farm. There were retro posters of people riding an ostrich in their Victorian finery that you could in all the tourist attractions. The Ostrich designs really excited me!
WOW!!! Your finished and framed master pieces are absolutely beautiful!! And, the choice of frames are so compatible to the cross stitch designs. I hope you guys have thought about "insuring" your projects. Over the years, I've wondered what kind of future my stitching projects will have. Not sure if the kids will hold onto them. Then I think how much pleasure I've had over the years cross stitching, knitting, crocheting, and sewing.....it's been worth all of the happiness that needleworks have giving to me. "Just see stitchin"
Planner girls unite!!!!! I have been a planner/sticker girl for over 10 years!! Started making my own kits and love it! So happy you’re finding joy in stickering!
Your framed finishes are beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I am now cross stitching again inspired by Steph and hope I can learn how to advance to other fabrics and counts other then Aida. You both are giving me so much cross stitch fun!
Love 💕 Love Linda Myers. I’ve stitched many but never seen this one. Now I’ll be on the hunt. Thanks Steph.. and I didn’t know that Kay’s frames were still available! You two get an award for the best enablers!
Wow ladies your framed pieces are so gorgeous and I can not tell they have any type of glass in them at all! Gorgeous simply gorgeous❤️ Wow your Ill be home piece is stunning! What a commitment! I would be so so proud, and I know you are! Love your new planner Steph! I used to teach a planner class when I was younger in the Corp world more than I am now, they are so helpful and can keep anyone organized if they will just use it! Your sticker choices are darlin and I can t wait to see you use them each month! Now you need to go potty🙃☺️ 🚽
Gotta tell you ......I love the way you promote Paula and Carleton. Two of my favorite business people. They are so good to the customers and so friendly. I feel like I’ve known them forever and they are family. Craft Gallery is of course my favorite stitching shop. And your projects are always done perfectly. They both know their stuff!!!
Your framed pieces are amazing! I feel honored to be able to see them so up close and personal! Don’t drool on the fabric, Pam! 🤣 I’m still trying to find the “perfect” planner solution! Can you tell me about your setup, Pam? 💝
Loved this flosstube. Loved seeing your framed finishes. Really fun to see the sticker segment! I called Keepsakes twice, to place orders. I had the good fortune of talking to you Steph, both times. That was fun for me, and you were so kind and so helpful. You and your Mom are most enjoyable!
I love your videos. Thanks for my weekly smile! Well, I’m sure I smile more than once a week, but I can count on the two of you to always make sure I’m smiling. I was also happy to hear you mention By the Bay Needleart as I’m currently working on Harbor Haven and loving it. I don’t hear many people mention it. Thanks again
Girls your finished projects are amazing!! It's scary Steephanie when you don't know what your mom is going to say! The look on Stephanie's face was priceless. Thanks for the laughs ladies see you next time!!
Great video ladies. Pam I’ve been contemplating Lady Justice since she was released. I’m a former judicial assistant and currently a legal assistant with our local prosecutor’s office. After seeing your gorgeous framed piece, I must have her! I still need to stitch granddaughters 3 and 4 a Nora pixie first. But I “added to cart” LOL have a great week and enjoy your retreat next weekend. ❤️
Loved all your framed pieces! Pam, Lady Justice and I'll Be Home look phenomenal! Really liked seeing Coming to America again. Enjoy your retreat ladies! Safe travels!
Warren, OH brings back so many memories! My grandparents were born and raised there and we would visit my great grandmother yearly up until she passed. No visit was complete without a visit to The Hot Dog Shoppe! It's been many years since I last visited but it definitely holds a special place in my heart! Have a great week ladies and a blast at the retreat, I can't wait to hear about it!
So Miss Stephanie… what the heck do you put on your hair to make it so shiny that it’s about to blind me? You turn your head and stars appear! You look down and my TV flashes. It’s amazing and I do love it but I’m about to wear sunglasses when I watch you!!
Glad you can hold it, because I can’t anymore!!!!😂😂 Might be my age! Have a wonderful retreat and look forward to hearing all about it next week. Thanks so much….I am now thinking about getting a planner!!😬😁
Ladies...first, I want to say that I stayed till the end.. I was stitching away while enjoying your video.. My husband came in the room and said "aren't you up kind of late?" To which I replied "no, why? What time is it?" Lo and behold, it was 1:30am!!! I loved your framed pieces. So glad I saw them in person at stitch con. Oh, and Steph, did you make it to the bathroom? 😆 Thank you for a great video and have a great retreat this weekend.
Love Ocean of Liberty, Pam. Thanks for letting us know about the anti-reflective glass. Steph, I love the sticker segment. Keep it up. Congrats to Eva!! Have a great week, ladies! Go pee, Steph!
Stunning stunning stunning!!! Is what I have to say about your framed pieces of art!!! They are always put in the perfect frames ,that are perfect colors! So so beautiful, every single one! That Santa beared Steph!!! I was mesmerised at the perfection!! You are both such beautiful stitchers and I love seeing them finished in beautiful frames.Have a safe trip and a great time!😊
I loved seeing your stickers Steph! I used to do that a few years ago and then I switched to bullet journaling, then 2020 ruined planners for me LOL I’m back to using a bullet journal. I love using stickers, washi tape, and my zebra mildliner markers 😊
I just finished my Coming to America last month - that Mayflower is definitely taking a nice leisurely trip across the Atlantic! I bought my first EC planner recently and now I’m being sucked in to the “sticker stuff” as well 😆
Go pee Steph…. Thanks for all the amazing framed finishes ladies!! Paula takes your beautiful stitching and turns them into treasures!! Have a fabulous weekend next. Look forward to the review when you get back. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm stitching Coming to America along with you, Pam. It was in my plans for WIPs for Sampler September. I picked it up this morning, September 6th, and am finishing up the motifs above the names. Had to finish listening and watching while making my lunch. Great video as always! Take care and traveling mercies!
Thank you so much, girls, For The shout outs on all the things!!! You're seriously so fun to watch❤️🧵🪡☺️ New FlossTube video & more charts coming soon.
Love all your beautiful frames pieces (and WIPS too!) I have a small start on Le Nuit de Noel from last Christmas, and it’s a lovely chart! I’d love to see you stitch it! I’ll be picking it back up after I get some fall stitching itch out of the way.
That last comment was totally worth waiting for😂😂 But, I’d like to request a little warning before Steph cuts loose with that fantastic humor of hers! I almost choked on my coffee!😂 As always, a great video this week! I’m trying to resist jumping on the planner/sticker train, but you are making it difficult with all those adorable stickers!
Love watching you both. I too love Linda Myers charts. ABC stitch has a wide verity of her charts and also has a Simple Life number 2 which I think is the companion piece to the Simple Life. I have both and thanks for reminding me to get them stitched. Also love hearing about your planner and stickers. ❤️
The last time I was at The Stitchery Nook in Osage, Iowa, they had 3 of the “Coming to America” kits/boxes. They are a huge stitching shop with an area in the back for scrapbooking supplies too. Stitchy stuff and stickers in one stop shopping!!
You can put the stickers on your face if you want too. 🤣🤣🤣Liz made me go down a rabbit hole and I am loving it. I am like you had never heard of memory planning but ordered the star and moons Erin Condren journal and now got 1 million stickers and kits coming
Wow! I can't believe it but I also started using a planner for the first time. I also bought a planner and some stickers starting putting them in a planner that I purchased from the the Happy Planner and also some stickers , washi tape and other supplies from Eric Condren. I also signed up for her sticker of the month club. I just love it and I got the ideal for stickers from you..
Oh I love the addition of the memory planning, Steph! Yay! I did that for a long time and got away from it, but I’m trying to get back to it. Oh man now I’m thinking I need to get an EC or Recollections planner and start buying kits to organize for the seasons and such. Yikes!
I have watched your videos almost from the start. I do look forward to Sunday night. I am originally from the Warren, Ohio area but moved to PA 30 years ago. My ears definitely perked up when you said your stitch harmony was from Warren as most of my family still lives there. Small world. Thank you for your videos.
OK, I think I can count to $2.17 faster than to count to 217. Thanks for the tip (no pun intended). LOL Absoultely love your beautifully stitched Lady Justice in her awesome frame. Also love your I'll Be Home. It is just beautiful! Congrats to Eva!!!! Happy stitching ladies !
You were on a roll!! Thanks for keeping me in stitches (pardon the pun). Love ya! Still keeping it weird here in Portland, OR. "Portland stitchers unite!!".
I don't live in Georgia, I do have sibling and cousins tho. But I kind of cheated and did a search. I think its a Georgia Motto called "Wisdom, Justice, Moderation", but don't quote me on it. lol. Congrats to the winner. That is an awesome winning. I signed up for the wait list for stitchcon so I'm praying Ill have a chance to meet you lovely ladies which will be my very first stitchcon/retreat.
I just purchased a Coming to America kit from Shepard’s Needle in 18 count. They had a few kits left in different fabrics/counts. I haven’t started it yet.
Hi Pam and Steph! You guys are both very good-natured. All that razzing that goes on and nobody gets ruffled over it! 😀 Steph called Pam her spokeswomen for talking about the stickers ahead of time. And Pam got Steph back by saying that tricks are definitely tricky because that is the very nature of tricks! 😂 I have an idea for you… Why don’t you show your audience where the “buy me a coffee ☕️ money 💰 is going by taking us along on your next trip to the framing store! I would love to see a video of the framer helping you pick out frames, and the discussion that goes on around that. Would be very interesting. And we could see the shop, and maybe send our framing there. The framer can talk about us sending things in the mail if that is possible. I hope you will consider doing that video. By the way, it was Jody from Trixietricycle who told you about The Old Massachusetts Primitive Hare fabrics.
Pam your braver than me , I would have drew those stitches in, probably right over the glass too 😂. Steph I always feel like I am training, I get so busy that I hold it until I’m running and then have to do the bunny hop dance as I unbuckle the five botton fly pant that I happen to wear that day 😬. Enjoy your retreat!!
Stickers are beautiful! Has Keeya mentioned Bullet Journaling or BuJo? Should see the stickers they have, never mind looks like you already purchased some🙃😃 Love your WIPs & finishes!
Woo hoo!!!! We got a winner 🥇!!!!! Framed pieces look awesome! Sewmuch2luv' Halloween bags are so yummy! WIPs, haul, stickers, planner, oh boy what an episode!!!! Steph we haven't got so many Ostrichs before either 😂! Love you our precious ladies!!!!
Ok I am new to all this. I did get on the waiting list for stitch con. Can you give more ideas on good ideas for the swap part. Thanks in advance. Excited and hope I make it in.
