What a great collection of kits you have. I love the Christmas scene in the snow with the animals around the tree. Thanks for sharing your time. Love and blessings xx
Kit parades are so fun to watch! I understand what you said about collecting vs. stitching. I'm constantly reminding myself I have more than enough but watching flosstube doesn't help. Not just kits but patterns too. Take care and thanks for sharing.
That was fun! 😃 Fall Fairy is absolutely gorgeous and of course , I love Blue Moon Fairy and am excited to see you start it! 💙 Gosh , there were so many pretty ones. I know what you mean about loving pre-made kits. I have that similar feeling about not wanting to open them until I'm ready to start them. Thanks for another great episode, Meghan. Even my cat got right under my elbow as I was stitching so she could get a better look at you as you talked and showed kits off. 😅 Something must've been interesting to her about you since she's never done that before.
The bird in your Nature Surrounds Me looks like a heron, or possibly an egret. Definitely not a swan. I used to be a kit snob back in the 90s, I only bought fabric, floss and patterns from my local needle shop, but now have totally changed my mind and have several Dimensions and Riolis kits I'm working on. Happy stitching!
Hello! I am so happy to have found your channel. I have been stitching for many years starting with kits and now going back to kits. You described my feelings too with kits being like little presents all wrapped up. You do have some you beautiful kits. Thank you for sharing.
So good to see you again. Love your kits. You have some beautiful ones. Will be fun to watch you stitch these up and bring them to life. I hope you have a great couple of weeks, stay safe and happy stitching ❤️
Wonderful kit parade, so many kits and charts, so little time. You really have some unique kits. I have quite a few kits myself, mostly Dimensions or Dimensions Gold, and mostly realistic birds and a few animals. I think I have 4 or 5 ornament kits which make 8 per kit so a lot of ornaments and finishes. You did really well at presenting them and talking about what you liked about them. Happy stitching.
Hi, just watched this and wanted to share my experience of Riolis. They are based in Lithuania and are great to deal with. I ran out of the black thread in my kit and they sent me more, all the way to New Zealand (along with a complete catalog of their kits 😊). The wool/acrylic blend is nice to work with too, especially as it is already single strand, so no separation is needed
OMGOODNESS Kit girl here! It’s like you said I love them and I don’t open them until I’m going to start them either. I love Stitching houses and row houses and any kind of picture of houses or scenery too! My problem is I have about 20 kits and I love to finish more than I start. So I will be busy for a long time. 😯 I love Sleigh Ride and M’ Lady’s château!
Awesome!! Yes, they make me so happy all wrapped up! I hear ya, I want to finish the ones I have on the go before starting, or at least one of them! Fall fairy may be an exception!
I love the winter scenes but oh my goodness that white!!! I dont know if I could do it.....but that sky on the Letistitch kit did me in.😍 On the wishlist it goes!!!😄😊
Love all you kits, but that Fall Fairie! NY & then CT is home… so I totally am with you on the sky & leaves! Miss it too! I now have to find one to do for Fall! 😉🍁🍂 looking forward to your next vlog. (Hope the interview went well!)
It made me laugh when you were surprised at how many kits you have from that Norwegian site. 😅 can't wait to see you start Fall Fairy. That's my fave. I have Winter Cabin and Red Mermaid as well! Thanks for the shout out. I think it's hilarious that you specified that another flosstuber actually finishes her kits 😆 collecting is a separate hobby.
🤣🤣 it’s true, totally separate thing! Lol I was surprised! 🙈 Yes, your fairies look beautiful, will be interesting to see who finishes Fall first! My bet is on you! 😁
it´s so fun to watch this. because I look a lot on finn too. And the ones you have bought I have looked at and been like " hmm, intresting" but I need some time to think and convice myself. I want to reduse my kit stash. only. I just bought two new crossstitches from there. ^^ need to stop look. But How did the intervju go? :D
@@stitchingmoon I wouldn´t say that nesesarily. there was one riolis kit with a bird this week that i really regret not buying. Like really ,really regret now. so even if i dont listen to my impulses I really regret not doing that afterwards. I am so glad the language went well :D fingers crossed !
Hi Megan! Just checking out your videos, you’ve got such a similar taste to mine😅. We have lots of kits it common. Maybe one day if you liked we could do a sal! 😍 . Take care and happy stitching ❤😘🇵🇹
I have a question about Dimension Gold and can't find where else to ask it. Does anyone know where I can contact the company to see if they sell a pdf pattern for Aurora Cabin that works with Pattern Keeper? I can't remember where I bought it (2015!).
@@stitchingmoon Thanks - I'll try to reach out. This started because I bought a pdf from Etsy to use in PK, but the seller didn't reproduce the symbols faithfully to the paper pattern, which I have about 1/4 stitched. I managed to upload the full Etsy pattern to PK, which was fantastic because the floss numbers populated automatically. But, the Etsy creator also didn't grid it the same as the paper pattern! Not sure why not. It's off by one stitch! So I had to offset the grid, which keeps me from being able to select all stitches in the square. I would love to buy the pdf from Dimensions. I'm not sure how the Etsy seller got the rights to reproduce it in pdf, where it's not actually the same as the paper pattern. Sigh.
@@laurenransford7638 oh wow what a pain! I’m curious if Dimensions would sell only the pdf 🧐 I heard you need to email them a pic of the cover or something to show you really have it. Let me know! and good luck!
You probably already know this but there are some de-stash groups on Facebook also. A lot that is sold might not be your style, but occasionally there are some kits that are quite cheap.
I have a video about sorting the floss bundles in kits. You might find it helpful and reassuring that the task is actually quite easy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x8GyDugzbCQ.html
Letistitch is the company of the daughter of the Luca-S company You have great kits: I also have the leopard from Luca-S, not started yet, the other one from Letistitch I started last December , it has a bit stitched. The mermaid kits from RTO are also amazing
