Those sweet puppies of yours are so awesome!! Thanks for sharing them with us. All of your finishes are AMAZING, too! I just hope to get to a retreat someday because I think it would be the time of my life. As for a theme, I mostly stitch prim and patriotic so a combo of those would be awesome. I also love houses and have so many complete projects and charts containing houses. Can’t wait for your next video! Enjoy your daughter’s wedding! My firstborn daughter just got married on June 15, and I was so exhausted afterward that I don’t think I accomplished a thing for a week or two afterwards.

If I were doing a retreat theme it would be Rest....DREAM. For me stitching slows me down enough to exhale, breathe and then be refueled to do the ‘next thing’ thing! Always enjoy your videos, yes...more often would be fabulous! Be blessed.

No way can you be old enough to have grandkids! Loved your video as always. If I were picking a theme for a retreat it would probably be gardens and flowers as I've really been drawn to those types of patterns recently.

Thanks for the videos! I've been on a nautical kick, trying to get my kitchen decorated in that theme. I would love a nautical themed cross stitch retreat. (I've never been to a retreat before) not really beachy. But I've been eyeing ships and sails , compasses etc!

OMG, those puppies! All that good puppy breath! So much stitchy stuff. I wouldn’t have minded a Maynia review but, that would have been killer to collect up for a video in July. One theme could be, Birds and Bees, Flowers and Trees. That would cover a lot of ground. I had a hard time with a fall theme. The colors of Indian Corn was all I could come up with. some day I’m coming to one of your retreats.

I always look forward to your videos! I love the puppies and the goats! I am so glad you share them on your videos. I also enjoyed all the kids coming in to say hi. It reminds me of my daughter and her friends. If I picked the theme for a retreat I would probably do a vintage sewing/stitching notions theme. I love the old tools and images of ladies of centuries past stitching. Thank you for your awesome videos and sharing your beautiful work with us!

Hi Michelle! Your home reminds me so much of my best friend growing up. Her family had sheep and was a home that many friends would gather at during the summer for bonfires and just hanging out. Your retreat really sounds like it will be very fun! You are putting such hard work into it. I think it would be really cool to have a legends, myths, and folklore themed retreat.

You always bring the best stuff! Your stitches and finishes are all so perfect. Love 'em. I'm pretty ding dang excited that I got a spot for the October retreat! I. Can't. Wait! Any retreat theme is a good retreat theme! But I like that bag and all that stuff so I'm gonna throw something like "Double the Fun" because Minnesota has the twin cities (I know, kinda lame) OR how about "Hamm it up"??? Minnesota's the home of the old Hamm beer and their theme song was Land of Sky Blue Waters (which could make a theme itself) so you could use pigs, the color blue, sky, water etc to bring the theme! LOL! See? I'm not good at this. That's why they don't ask me to do retreats! LOL! Gotta go, I'm off to check out all those links you've provided!

I have a project I need to finish. I looked for Briwax on amazon, but it isn’t cheap. I thought about retreat themes and I came up with birds as a theme.

Love your videos. I love those puppies they are so stinken cute!! I want one. I think a prim theme or a beach theme would be fun. I need to get to a retreat the last one I went to was at salty yarns when the trilogy did one. I had so much fun. I walk with a cane and it would be so hard to get around there anymore. but the beach was beautiful Love all your projects so much fun where was the box from with the drawer I don't see a link thanks

Love your videos and wips, finishes and gifts. In my opinion, you should omit the border on your Maynia 2017 start. If you frame it, the frame can be the decoration. As far as retreats, a French, Paris theme would be adorable with the French beret, artsy black and white stripped shirts, French pastries and of course the Eiffel Tower! You inspired me to start PSS Stacks, began with Goat Load :-)

I like retro sewing supplies and the fabrics that went with them, aprons, ticking, and feed bag fabrics. The old irons, spools, thimbles, the and work used to dress up everyday things like dish towels, pillow cases, and handkerchiefs. Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration to all of the wanna be wonderful and creative stitchers out in floss tube land,laughing at their ipads to something my kids won’t find funny for 10 more years! You continue to amaze (love the pig fob and marking pins). After spending many special years years with my Grandparents in Iowa I feel justified in sharing what Iowa really stands for...Idiots out wandering around!

Hi Michele, great video! Love those cute puppies. Your projects are amazing, I may have to make a set of shaker boxes myself. If I were going to a retreat, I would like a pajama party retreat. Everyone could wear their most comfy pjs and stitch on something fall or Christmas/winter related. It is the time of year when we’re all getting ready for the long cold winter. Great video! I love your “realness”. If I could attend (but already have an October retreat scheduled)....I would love a Sampler theme. Doing an entire Sampler would be impossible, but Sampler motifs are so cute and versatile and they can be used for so many things!

I really enjoy your videos. Your grandson is adorable. All of your WIPS and finishes are gorgeous. Love the puppies too. I hope you continue to have your fantastic retreats and there will be a spot open for me in about 3 years! My husband will then be retired and would be able to drive me to MN as it is too far for me to come alone and I have only flown once and that was enough for this lifetime, LOL! I'd do a spooky cat theme. Lots of black and tuxedo cats, run it in the fall around Halloween, tell scary stories in the woods. And we'd have to have a resident retreat cat, of course!

I love the farm themed retreat, but would I be an awful person to say I think a booze themed retreat sounds fun?! Probably. I'm just gonna roll with it.. LOVED listening to your video today while driving g back to AZ. I couldn't watch anything since I was driving, but loved that you kept me company anyway!

A booze theme is great for everything! I once used it to name goats too! Margarita, Kahlua, Mint Julep, Sangria....😁

I wonder if I can leave off the ears off the Nubin goat and turn it in to a La Mancha goat in stead because that's the kind of goats we have. Oh I could use a French knot

PUPPIES!!! They are so stinkin' CUTE!! I wouldn't get anything done with puppies around so I don't know how you manage! I think a neat retreat theme would be your favorite Holiday. So you choose what your favorite holiday to decorate for or stitch for and stitch a small for that Holiday. That way there would be a good mix for many different ones. I also think the seasonal ones are good for the time of year that the retreat is held during.
