Love your finishing ideas! Since I started cross stitching few years ago, I have a whole new appreciation for Micheal's for mounts, particularly since I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me.

The squirrels like the suet cakes. If it is going that fast it might not be the birds. Mixing seed with hot paprika helps keep them out.

Oh, I learned that lesson too. :D I haven't seen any squirrels getting at the food lately, but we had to go through several variations to keep them at bay.

Welcome, and I am so glad you enjoyed the video! The piece behind me is Rainbow Temperature Supernova by Climbing Goat Designs (on Etsy). I stitched the min/max version last year using my own color selection. I really loved the stitch itself and the final product even more. If you're looking for a temperature chart, I highly recommend it.

7:36 u could put a hoop collection in the sectioned box. Also gr8 storage for patterns, stickers, stationary & Pens, journals/blank books. Put florist foam down in the bottom of each section & stand your scissor collection.

Great video, and finishes. I received a BenQ lamp from the company a couple of years ago and I love it. They are truly a great light and company to work with. I'm like you as far as being contacted by company's and just saying no to them. But I did work with them on the lamp. I was contacted by Luca-s designs and they sent me a kit of my choice in exchange for talking and showing their product. I now am addicted to their kits!LOL! I have ordered 4 other kits. I hope you pass the Wind in the Willows test! I haven't read that book for years, but I did see a stage version a few Christmasses ago and still loved it. That exam card is brilliant. I couldn't quite tell, but I think the picture on the front was my Oxford college. My favourite FFO this time was the clock. I might have been inspired to get a similar clock, although I haven't a clue what I will put in it. Non-stitchy RU-vid I love right now is The Rest Is Entertainment. Some of it is UK-specific but in general it is a fascinating discussion about entertainment industry issues that are relevant internationally. One of the presenters is Richard Osman - I can't remember whether I have recommended his books to you or not, but I do think you might enjoy them. They are sort-of-cozy English murder mysteries although they tend to have a high body count!

I finished the Wind in the Willows the other night and really loved it in the end. I remember a version being on Broadway about 10-15 years ago, and at the time it wasn't of interest, but now I am regretting having not seen it. I will keep an eye out in future. How fun if that's your Oxford college too! One of the things I really like about that series is the artwork they choose. I look forward to seeing your clock finish! I hadn't heard of that RU-vid channel, but it sounds really interesting, thank you! I have Osman's first book and had every intention of reading it and then bought more books and got distracted by others and ... and ...

I had to watch over two stitching sessions. Lovely to see all your progress and haul. My favourite non stitching RU-vid channels are canal boat vloggers. They cruise the uk canal networks and show the gorgeous scenery and life in a small off grid space (I’m biased as I regularly holiday on canal boats with friends and it is one of my favourite relaxing weeks of the year). Boat time (Wes and Amy), This Tiny Life (Jack and Gabby) & Holly the Cafe Boat (Vic and Jo). There are many others - I hope you find something you enjoy.

Wonderful video (as always :); One RU-vid channel that I love to watch is Bentley House Minis. She creates mini dollhouses (Science Fiction dollhouse; Captain's Quarters, etc) and it is fascinating to watch her turn simple items into amazing finished projects! So creative!

This may sound silly but . . . I saw a freebie pattern on a floss tube video and instantly thought how good it would look in you arch shaped frame. Lol. It is a cute little fox. MommalovesyouGB was the flosstube channel and the pattern is called “Light”. It is freebie pattern by Barbara Ana Designs. ❤️

I"ve seen looking at that light but feel it's a bit on the expensive side. Living only on Social Security doesn't give me much for extras now days. Maybe one day I will invest in one. Love your finishes. I would like to suggest a vine....they run...maybe with some leaves...perhaps a flower or two on it? That's what I would stitch on it instead of the woman. I'm not really into stitching people.

First time watching. When you mentioned the floss named Coronal Mustard, I thought of Martin Mull because he played Coronal Mustard in the movie Clue. I think he came to mind because of some tragic news about him. You do have some amazing projects and they are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Welcome and hello! I've seen a couple examples of Maria on Instagram. I think if you look at the #singasamplerseries hashtag they should come up. For recharting, the difficulty depends on how complicated you want to make it, but mostly it's about trying to keep your new design in roughly the same space/number of stitches as the original. For Maria, it would be making bobbed hair instead of the pigtails, a habit instead of shorts, etc. Good luck!

I love your shirt! I remember watching that TNG episode when it first aired. It’s fun to “meet” someone else who is a big fan of both Star Trek and Star Wars; most people are really into one or the other, it seems. And thanks for your book reviews! I’ll be looking for a couple of those.

Hi friend, Instead of illustrating the word 'run', my suggestion is that you focus on the phrase 'a long, long way'. I would use a road or path going off into the distance. Maybe a signpost with an arrow or the word far on it. There could be in the distance just a very small black figure, not much drtail because it is so far away. Just a few ideas that go through my head and I hope they help. Stitch happy. 52:40

Horses are known for running. My favorite of your finishes was the clock. Very unusual and you can display 2 on it at once.

I really love that idea of a winding road as well (and constantly have The Beatles running through my head now). I did some charting for Early Americans last night and was nearly pulling my hair out but unwilling to quit, so I think we totally understand each other. 😂

If you use the Land That I Love finish in the snug, you could put the tv remote, stitchy tools, your cheaters, even store your pattern in a slot if it fits. I love feeding the birds too, and recently added a feeder to the front of the house where I can see it when I'm in my chair stitching. I recently had a raccoon and a ground hog visit along with rabbits, squirrels and tons of birds! ❤ I'm so glad your video was a long one because I *almost* got all my frogging done while watching! Thanks for the idea about key chains as zipper pulls on project bags! I have a teapot that I've thrown them in for YEARS and now I have a way to use them and remember my trips, etc. Great video!

Wonderful idea about using the piece for craft storage in The Snug, thank you! I've been having so much fun watching the birds this week. Although yesterday was two clever squirrels figuring their way around the baffle and a woodchuck who figured out what was going on too. We'll see what happens next. 😂
