Just have to say thank you for leading us to Erin Elizabeth designs. I paused your vide(sorry, but I did come back) so that I could look up her video before I forget. Well, she is absolutely amazing with ideas. I’ve always thought about doing little stitches maybe taking something from the bigger pattern etc. but never knew what to do with them. Well, now I know and more. I have definitely subscribed to her channel. Now thanks to y’all. I guess I’m going to go out next week and find thrift stores. We don’t have many here in Savannah but we do have one I really like and it’s for hospice. You have to just keep going all the time till you happen upon things that can be used for Stitching. Anyway, thanks a lot ladies.😅

Another great floss tube. Loved seeing all the stitching and finishes. The haul…WOW!!! I do my own finishing work now. I visit the craft stores, several different dollar stores and then Target and Walmart. Java Girl talked and showed what she bought at Target…wood pieces and yeppers, I went and I bought. We no longer have local framers, it is too expensive, so…decided to do all my own work…keeps me out of trouble.

Boy, you girls had a wonderful long video, filled with so much good stuff, well, I will have to watch it again. Didn’t take notes so the next time I watch this video I certainly will. Loved the flosstube ladies. I really enjoy the diverseness of your projects. My mother was from Maine (Augusta) Father from Boston and when you spoke about Pat...that was so right on! I still have a cottage in Belgrade Lakes and visit Maine every year...almost. This year I will be there in August so I cannot attend the one day retreat in Hallowell. ((SAD)) I live in California now, but my heart is always with the Mainers!!

Hi! Sounds like the first session had as great a time as we did at the 2nd session. I was also awed by Pat's lecture on linen, needles, and other antique accessories. The projects were amazing and beautiful. I made a lot of videos for my Flosstube of the 2nd session. Yay! We can visit at Weekend B! I will be there also. Hopefully, we can meet up again. Lily had a lot to say today! You can find the wooden letter beads like the ones on Kathy’s zipper pull in a bag of 100 online. I purchased some small ones from Hobby Lobby to use with the small sled ornaments, but they didn’t have the larger ones.

Missy, I'm so glad you had such a great time at your retreat! I would have loved to be in on the seminar about the history of needles, thimbles, linens, etc too. That's right up my alley.
