Well, here I was enjoying my Sunday evening .stitching a beautiful sampler, my dog Jaxon at my feet, a cold beverage within reach. Husband off to bed and Pam and Steph. Doesn"t get much better, right? You almost made it to the end when the whole experience derailed. Steph jumped into Pam's stash accumulation comments by referencing her mom's demise due to age and the need to get things stitched. What a downer. LOL. Pam, I rocketed to Earth several years before your arrival and I plan to keep accumulating (collecting) , stitching and enjoying you and Steph on Sunday night hopefully for many years forward. So, with the heaviness of my mortality weighing on me, I am off to bed hoping for at least 20 more stitching years ahead and lighter repartee from one of my favorite mother/daughter duos.

Wonderful time with you guys today. I feel so guilty. I live on the central coast of California and our weather here is beautiful. I feel so bad for all those who are battling the heat. Stay cool as best you can. For us a lot of times we will get very warm in the fall. And then we will be complaining how hot it is. Thanks for the laughs. I can relate to your kitty knocking the patterns. Our living room has my projects scattered everywhere - cross stitch, rug hooking, etc. My parents were over with their pooch. Well our dog and theirs dashed into the living room and we heard a crash. I went in there and didn't see what fell. You know you have a lot of projects everywhere when you don't realize they knocked over a lamp until some time later. Lol. Love watching! See you next week!

I love your videos and have been wanting to leave you a comment. A couple videos ago you were talking about dusting off the the lawn chairs to go watch the fireworks. I just want you to know that YOU ARE MY PEOPLE!! I agree that the outdoors are beautiful and I can see them just fine through my windows. I did get to Keepsakes yesterday and it was awesome! I got to meet Stephanie who graciously let us take her picture with me and Linda. Both were wonderful. Oh, to have such a place as my LNS! Thank you for another episode full of laughs. My Monday morning routine has become (1) Watching Pam and Steph while fixing breakfast; (2) Eating breakfast while re-watching the part of Pam and Steph that I missed while trying to keep from overcooking the eggs and watching more Pam and Steph. (3) Putting the dirty dishes in the kitchen for Hubby to clean up so I can finish watching Pam and Steph. (4) Having Hubby check on me because he can't figure out why I'm laughing so hard while watching Pam and Steph. (5) Re-watching the part of Pam and Steph that I missed because Hubby interrupted me. (6) Finish watching Pam and Steph (or is that Steph and Pam?) Now I am really confused! Love you ladies. You are always the highlight to the start of a new week.

Pam, Pam, Pam that cow chart is pretty much full coverage. If you can stitch that you can do a HAED. There are smaller HAED charts that are not 500x500... lol. You both have beautiful stitching.

Hello! I am pretty new to flosstube, but watching past episodes. I’m just finished your Christmas Day video and I just wanted to thank you guys. I used to live and take care of my grandparents until they passed in 2021, well when I was little my Grandma was a prolific cross stitcher until arthritis prevented her from continuing to stitch. I have 2 or 3 pieces she had on her walls. My biggest regret that I didn’t start stitching till this year because she would have been my biggest cheerleader, and so proud of me. Well now back to why I am thanking you, I just watched the ending where you show your Christmas cross stitch around your house and it so reminded me of being at my Grandparents at Christmas and even though it’s August, I needed to have that feeling. So thank you. But I love your channel. Thank you both for all you guys do 💜

I learned something very important from you today, Pam. I had no idea of those dates when women were given the right to vote. Even though I have a masters in education, this information was never taught so succinctly at any of my levels of education. I am just stunned. and I so appreciate you sharing this information with your audience. I am certainly going to teach this to my grand daughters. The last few years I have been explaining a lot of political things to them, because of the mess that our United States has seen. I’m not going to get political here, but I so appreciate having such an important thing to share with them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Y'all are too funny. I especially liked Pam's comment about getting "older" and my comment these days has been "time is running out." I'm 79, here's what happens: eyes blur, hearing fades, memory lapses (proven by the number of duplicate cross stitch patterns I have), and last but not least, the sheer act of sitting for a long time and stitching makes the muscles and bones stiff, so the doctor prescribed a walker for me -- which I use faithfully all the time. I have gone from 36 ct. fabric, down to 32, Yep, 32 is out. Finally 28 ct. is still seeable, but more and more it's either 25 ct. Lugana or 14 to 20 ct. Aida. (I like to pretend I can stitch on 40 ct., using 20 ct. Aida. So Pam, you made me laugh, and now I hope I made you laugh, because getting old is not for sissies (to quote a Lizzie*Kate pattern). Love you guys, watch now after a 3 year absence from stitching, but I am back at it -- small, easy projects. Take care, have a wonderful week. Wish I could travel to the Netherlands with you, but I need my walker, my oxygen, my diapers, my laptop, and my CPAP machine. Oi vey! Laughter, yes, laughter is the best medicine. Love, Karen B.

Hello Steph and Pam (see what I did there??)! You are always on my Monday plans along with stitching! I do hope Steph puts the head on that poor wiener!! I admit that when I heard the crashing sound, I thought the camera fell and broke! I am sure the cat was frightened too! Great finishes Pam! I also love Rural Post Office! Hi ladies. Beautiful finishes. I am also north of 65, and get your point, Pam. I know my family will throw away all my stuff. So, I need to finish everything so they can’t do that. Haha. I’m in central California and it’s been over 100 for almost 20 days in a row. We are used to this weather, but still hate it. My daughter and son in law were at the Giants game yesterday. I haven’t talked to them, but I’m sure they loved the weather. They also loved the game. Oops, sorry. Have a good week.❤

Just finished this latest video and have to say ladies this as better than last week. I just about fell off my chair when Steph said Ooh Ooh we may need an R rating for this next stitch! (we all know we scooted in a little bit closer for this) and then gave us the best description of a headless weiner I had ever heard. And what is this new word Miss Pam had used? Anywaysiehoosie! I am so going to be teaching that to my 4 year old grandson. I can't wait for the sing along to that one. Thanks ladies for the great time.

I wonder if Autumn Lane Stitchery is going to have the pattern in their shop or if it's an exclusive. The Bay Area of California is much cooler than other parts of No. California. Where I am, it was over 90 degrees on Aug 1st. (could have been worse - came down from 100+) San Francisco was about 62 degrees on Aug 1st. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

I LOVE Rural Post Office. That is the type of projects I do and I think they are detailed and complicated and take forever. I am struggling with Dimensions Midnight Dance now. BUT I always chose projects like that because I like to stitch a picture that kind of looks real. Sometimes I have no idea why I like these projects because they are not easy to stitch and require concentration. I guess I like pictures that maybe could be real life situations. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Okay, loved the headless wiener, for starters. But I could be all over the “stitch before you die” situation (as Steph always says) The next big birthday is 80 and I don’t see my self waiting for that milestone to start 80 projects for the year. That may have to be my goal, just start it all. Loved my time with you both.

Hey, yall. I feel like this video needed a title of "in this week's episode, Pam continues to break all the boundaries!" In the last episode, it seems Steph started a trend by leaving out the math, and Pam continued with forgetting the back and forth requirement at the end of WIPs. This week, Pam keeps up the shenanigans rolling by leaving out sound effects! I love it when Stpeh gets discombobulated, and Pam just laughs!!! But what, there's more! Steph calls out all of our inner 12 year olds with the headless wiener! 😂 hubby even asked, "What did she just say? "???? Love to giggle and sometimes flat-out belly roll with you ladies weekly!!

Pam, I know what you mean when you say at our age. I am seventy four years old and trying to do it monogamous stitching. Which is hard to do. I would hate to leave my kids with a bunch of unfinished cross stitching. But who knows when they'll knock on our door, I might live to be a hundred.
