Kerri, I’m so sorry about your pain. How wonderful you found a great rehabilitation trainer. Pain sucks. I had a crappy total knee replacement with extreme nerve pain. Pain can absolutely be feared. I’m sending you love and healing.

Linda Vinson is a great conversationalist! I took a class from her; she was very attentive to everyone in the class. She has neat 3 dimensional projects also, like boxes!

I didn't know how much I was missing your videos.... and the lovely ideas you dangle!! I was online after 10 minutes to order the flamingo and I had already come across the Smooth Sailing... really like it! Good work Kerri! I have been wanting to buy Longdog's Fish and Ships which I also think would work really well with the linen and floss combo. BUT!! Wish there was a video to show how 70 yr old eyes do with 40 count dark-ish colours.... It does worry me. Luna is free of pain and carries your love in her heart! She will be waiting!

Placing a pillow with a white pillowcase or a white towel beneath your work + a bright enough light directly on your work. I use a floor lamp that has choices of several lights: blue, yellowish, daylight and Bright white. I am 72.6 years young, with nearly not driving limitations. I still quilt and do my X-STITCH & Crocheting.

So sorry to hear about Luna's passing. But I am glad you are back! Hope Carrie is feeling better next time. I have much sympathy and understanding. It's not fun to hurt all the time. On the positive side I am looking forward to seeing what Stitch North is all about in October, and meeting you both in person (as well as all the Evertote folks)

Oh Kerri - I certainly hope you improve steadily going forward. I have had osteoarthritis for 50 years. I am coming to Stitch North in October with Samantha of The Hygge Stitcher and her friend Arica from Fibers and Floss Canada. Hope to see you there and in good health. Caroline, I am sorry you lost your beloved Luna, but she is having a party with Daria and Eddie right now so I wouldn't worry too much about her. Looking forward to seeing you and your crew in October.

My sympathy on the loss of Luna. And also much sympathy to Kerri on the arthritis. After new knees, a wrist fusion, other wrist had bones removed, and now recovering from a knuckle replacement (all joints that were eaten away by arthritis), I am finally living with less pain until the next joint gives way. Hang in there. I’ve learned the exercises that help me cope with my spine for now.

Oh I'm si sorry to hear about Luna. I had a herniated disc in my back and ended up with a small back surgery. My prayers are with you for the pain and healing. I'm looking into Stitch North for next year.

Great to see you both back in action. Sorry for the loss of Luna 💔💔💔 Loved all the update. Thankfully for my bank balance, exchange rates & shipping force meter to think twice before I hit add to cart😂😂😂 I've just finished Jacob's Queen of the May & I loved every stitch of it. Now to get back to the SALs. Kerri, hope your guy continues to help with your back issues. Chronic pain is absolutely no joke, it's just so draining physically & emotionally. So sorry to hear about Luna. I received my Sing After the Storm kit and bag. I love the bag. I let your staff pick one out for me and these are the colors I would have chosen. Table 20 of SN weekend two has officially claimed Michael Jones. Our entire table registered to return together next spring. We all agree, Michael is a treasure. I love his soft Texas accent, likely tempered by his years in New York. His amazing goodbye hug still remains with me. And his stitching is impeccable. We ALL love you, Michael!

I too have back issues. I am doing the same process. I understand the day 1, 2, 3. We are on a camping trip but before we left I had a bad “stiff” neck and didn’t know if I was going to be able to go. Started doing the exercises that he had told me to do and make it. Keep up the good work. I made the list for 2024 weekend 1. I’m so excited. Every thing is in place, finally. Hugs to you both. I can’t wait to hug in person. So sorry about Luna. I still miss my little girl and it has been about 8 years.

Unfortunately, after that first morning, I didn’t see much more of you all because I was stuck in the hotel room with the G.I. flu. 😢 So disappointing I can’t even begin to tell you. I missed almost the entire retreat, but the little bit of time I had there Friday morning I so enjoyed it.

Kerri. I did the same thing with my lower lumbar with the ĺast 3 vertebrae. I found that a tens unit was my answer to my nerve damage. After 40 years that tens unit is still my savior. Take care I feel your pain. Caroline I am sorry to hear about Luna. 😢❤ my heart goes out to you ❤❤❤❤

Oh sorry - saying 2 over 2 is such a habit. I do use 2 strands on 16 count aida - but that's just as regular aida stitching, not increasing it to be over more than the square it should be in - I know that sounds confusing, hopefully it makes sense.

Hi great show !! When stitching on Aida count 16 and 18 do you use 2 threads or 1, especially if its a Sampler. Thanks so much, see you soon.

Hi Rose! It's really a personal preference thing. On 16, I use two strands, and on 18 - I use 1.

Yup! The Fibre Friends 😊 I started my own flosstube "Off the Grid Needlearts" around the same time and recorded that as well so that I could discuss cross stitch as much as I wanted because Fibre Friends was mostly knitting and there was never enough time to chat about x's. Louise is still recording with our friend Cheryl of My Needle Crafts
