I love your purchases! I have used various Painted Threads in wool appliqué. They are wonderful to stitch with and the colors are very saturated. The quilt that you received is such a treasure.

Another fantastic video! Your excitement for the art we love is infectious and we love it. I have been using Cedar River Linens since she first started selling and it is exquisite. So soft, both texture and color dyes. I have also worked on her 20 count Aida and it is just as soft as her linens. So glad to have found her. Thanks so much for all you share with us!

Glad you enjoyed Nashville, and picked up lots of goodies. I can understand why you're excited about the overdyed silks. I received several Painters overdyeds as part of a kit and they are gorgeous. They looked nice on video but so much more in person. Take care, and happy stitching.

Thank you for sharing your finds. I believe needlepoint shops carry these painter’s thread collections. I purchased some from my local needlepoint shop but it wasn’t as popular so I got mine on clearance. Take care!

So fun to see and hear about your market purchases and experiences. I'm glad you "found" Painters Threads. I've been using them quite a while in needlepoint. Most NP shops carry at least some of their threads. I didn't realize they overdyed AVAS silks. Gloriana and Threadworx have also been doing Soie D'Alger for quite a few years now. I LOVE using Gloriana Florimell for red samplers or black samplers. I have also just started a HATS sampler using the Threadworx overdyed AVAS, also obtained from a needlepoint shop. They are so used to NP stitchers buying a skein of this and a skein of that and I come in and buy the whole rack of red for a big Bristol sampler , They are always curious about "why so much red" Because we LOVE red - right!

The ruler is made by Stitchy Prose. I did not see it on their website but you could email them. Jean at The Attic Needleworks has them in her store as well.
