Sounds like you had a great time in Charleston. We lived in Clemson before moving to New Mexico. We used to go to Charleston a lot. We have a cat named Charleston. I started cross stitching the Rainbow Row pattern about 20 years ago and am about half way through it. I haven’t touched it for about 5 years now, I need to get it back out and stitch on it. Good luck to Parker in middle school and you with subbing.

I'm glad your family enjoyed a getaway, sometimes just 2 or 3 days away is more than enough. We love Charleston, I enjoy walking through the Market. Love the history & buildings there. I think Santa's Village is perfect the way it is! Beautiful project bags, are you planning to make Christmas or Fall themed bags?

Your Christmas village looks great as is. You can always stitch another row later on or just stitch ornaments with the rest of the pattern. My mother never says I love you either. Not because she doesn’t or because she doesn’t show it, just because it is the way she was raised. Since she has been at NHC she said I love you to one of my sisters and my brother. We were all shocked and it became a joke between us. I tell her I love you all the time and she just says ok. Well, a few weeks ago she said it back. I didn’t cry, but I did text all of my siblings telling them - SHE SAID IT BACK!!!!

Hi Krystal! Can you believe school has started again? Where did summer go? I have 17 grandchildren and 15 of those go to preschool or another grade up to the 10th grade! That in itself is crazy! Get some magnetic cable ties from amazon for the sides of your #virginfancyladysal! It'll help keep it taught. I see a trash bag, not a cauldron... I'd totally just copy that O as well. I would absolutely leave Christmas Village as is. I think it looks complete. I'm so glad you had a great getaway!

I do not like the cauldron as the O. Someone on Instagram did 2 O's and a small cauldron by the second O. I love Halloween but the way they did that didn't work out for me. I live in Charleston SC and I am thinking of moving somewhere more interesting and less hot and humid. I subscribed. I love embroidery. I prefer to embroider my own designs. After seeing what embroidery floss looked like on an old Victorian crazy quilt I have been craving some of that floss or something similar to it because it is so pretty. It's shiny as satin. Regular floss, the cotton kind, gets dull after washing. Do you happen to know a supplier of floss like that? It would make some gorgeous butterflies!
