I enjoyed every minute of this video! I love all the variety in your projects, cross stitch, wool appliqué, quilting and knitting, you are a marvel! Living in Minnesota is not for sissies, I live in Northern Minnesota. We got about 8-10 inches of snow yesterday and last night for a total of 3+ feet in our yard. I’m ready for spring! Take care and stay warm!
Yikes! I often wonder how people survive "up north"!😂 My oldest daughter lives in North Branch and it's crazy how different the weather is! We're not too far from Iowa!
Just adorable projects!!! I was especially taken by the beautiful Token of Love little aqua blue cabinet! It was sooooo cute!! I get what you mean about the fur and hair on everything. We rescue senior cats and have a bunch. We love our animals dearly fur and hair is just "who we are." I also get what you are saying about the propane. We went for over 15 years here with propane as the only option. YIKE$$$. We were very lucky that a farmer around the corner contract to bring natural gas down the road for his huge driers so the rest of us benefited from that, since he paid the lion's share of the costs. We thanked our lucky stars when that happened. Thanks again for taking time to share your wonderful projects. You are so inspirational!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
You totally get it! We always make sure to contract before the farmers start harvesting because once they turn those dryers on the price of propane goes through the roof!
This is a wonderful floss tube! So much stitchy goodness. I love the quilt you are wanting to make with the circles. It’s beautiful. And I like the quilt by, under the garden moon you are doing, it will be beautiful! I have some of there patterns for small quilts with wool appliqué. Your shawl is beautiful! I really enjoy this video.
Hey Michele! Nice to meet you! I'm actually from Cedar Rapids, IA and have tons of friends and family back home. Small world! Amana was always a treat for us to visit growing up. Glad I found your channel!
Hello, that was a fabulous video. I loved seeing all the wonderful things. I wanted to tell you that Leann from the Loose Thread Stitchers just showed the Blackbird Berry Vine quilt, completed, on their latest flosstube. It's amazing.
Great video!!! I always enjoy your videos and seeing all your finishes of cross stitching, knitting, wool appliqué and quilting!! You are a very accomplished crafter. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. ❤❤
Loved seeing what you’ve been working on - your Valentines basket of finishes is wonderful! Have fun at market - looking forward to my happy mail from pre-order kits. 🥰
Oh my, all that lovely stitching and knitting - you have many beautiful accomplishments. I always love seeing your wool appliqué and how you display your finished pieces. ❤🪡❤️
I have ordered from you before, but had never seen one of your videos. This was my first time and I immediately subscribed. You are amazing. Loved seeing all of your beautiful stitched designs, especially the button bag. You showed some things that are new to me, but now I have to have them. Have a great time at market.
Always great to see a new FT. You are so inspiring with all the handcrafted things you do. Gorgeousness !!! Love the finish parade . Great plans no lie because life can give us lemons at times. Enjoy Nashville.
Fabulous video, thank you for sharing your beautiful crafting projects. So much eye candy. That tiny Blackbird Designs needlebook is especially exquisite. Well done!
Thanks much for your videos from another Minnesota girl whose LNS is Stitchville too! Love seeing and hearing about all you do and hearing about the goats😊
I always enjoy your videos! I too love Chelsea and Me, I keep buying them on eBay. Enjoyed your valentines finishes. I love that appliqué pillow too from BBD but a little intimidated as I’ve not done appliqué before. I gave in and purchased the kit from Country Sampler. I also enjoy your goat stories. Take care!
@@farmgirldrygoods after watching your video, I went to Country Sampler to purchase their kit for the big pillow. Unfortunately I waited to long as they are out and will not remit 😞. Maybe I can try to purchase all the components, it’s probably not going to be exact. Thanks for the encouragement.
I have the same style of WIP basket, but I used a cloth band instead of leather. I recently brought home my basket making supplies from the cabin with big plans to knock out some that I’ve wanted to make for ages. I forgot about Agnes. I’m definitely going to have to make them in the studio instead of the house. She is not helpful. 😂
I just stitched Rack Stack and Cardinal Kin by Paulette Stewart for my Feb. WIPGO. I finished Cardinal Kin and almost RS. Can't wait to FFO them into pillows. They are so cute and we're such a fun stitch.
I bought the Blackbird book and made the darling heart pin cushion and am also going to make the quilt that you are looking at. If I can find the colors for that, for sure I’ll kit that up. But if you could SEE all my projects lined up (I am a quilter only) …….what can I say?
What a great video Michelle! You always inspire me to try new things! You are so talented !! Have a great time in Nashville, you and Lisa try to behave yourselves.
Enjoyed watching your video love seeing all your beautiful 🤩 ffo’s on your stitching and knitting and wool. Have a wonderful time at market and safe travels 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Hi lovely!!! I love your pink glasses ..so pretty ..so nice to see an update //I adore those little pinkeeps and I went straight over to amazon to get a Kim Diehl book after clapping my eyes on your beautiful mini quilt with the central applique. Have a fabulous time at market xx
Went to buy the Blackbird Book.... really cute stuff in there. Love your shawl! And all the eye candy 😍 And yes would you please stop dropping your drawers😅 Have fun in Nashville.
"Just DMC" = only DMC in my book. No apology necessary as most of us can't afford the specialty flosses the designers use. We are on a budget - they are not. DMC rules! ❤❤ to you and your herd!
It really helps that I only do videos every couple of months! 😂 I try to spend some time doing something creative at least a few days every week and it really adds up!
Hi. what fabric do you stitch Henrietta and other animals on? Is it linen, evenweave or aida? Thank you for help. You are so talented. The book to hold scissors is so nice.
If you're referring to the valentine pillows they were part of a kit that includes all 3 pillows. You should be able to find them on her website. I'm not sure of the name.
A great video! Are you familiar with Tasha Tudor? Look her up. Probably amazon has some of her books. She illustrated and wrote children’s books. Plus has some books on gardening and beautiful things. No longer living. One of her sons built her home and lives near it, maybe in Vermont. There is a family website you can go on. She had goats. Nubian maybe. I think you’d like her. Enjoy Market. ⭐️⭐️🌲🌲🌲
First time watching. Love your videos. A lot of very interest whips and finishes. I was wondering were you find the three from Blackbirds, Sewing Club Book?
Hello. I just found your channel. I want to say I love love love everything you stitch. The colors & theme are totally my style. My question is There is a cross stitch piece on the dresser behind you. It looks like 3 houses, a moon & star & I can’t see what else. It is a small long narrow framed piece. Would you be able to tell me what pattern that is? It is really cute. Thank you
It was a gift from a friend and it was a "save the stitches" that she found at a thrift store. I have no idea what the pattern is, but it's probably from the 80's.
This is the first video of yours that I've seen. I really enjoyed it and learned a couple things I didn't know. So thank you for that! I don't want to be "that" person, but I noticed you missed a flower on your Caroline Amelia Trowel. It's a little blue flower around the cartouche with her name. I don't even know why I noticed it. 😕 I hope Ithis message doesn't make you unhappy. I'm sorry if it does. You do beautiful work!💗
Oh my lands! Not upset at all. Thanks so much for pointing it out. I should have you check all my stitching before I finish because I'm notorious for missing stitches! 😂
Hey Minnesota !!! Where are You located? I am returning to Minn after living here (Washinton) since 1974. I am interested in several items, how do I contact you ?
The color has been set but it just wasn't thoroughly rinsed. Typically you use acid dyes when dying wool so maybe I'll try s little vinegar next time! Thanks!
This was so much fun! It's hard to say just which thing I liked the most, but even though I know I'll be buying at least the Blackbird patterns released at market, I really want the every single Brenda Gervais pattern you showed especially the ones on your thumbnail. I'm a knitter too, though I haven't knit in a couple of years and have three different socks as UFOs and had kitted a Fade before putting my knitting aside for cross stitch. Have you knit my Vanilla Latte sock pattern? I see Ravelry no longer has it available and I don't know why. If you haven't knit them and would like the pattern, let me know and I'll attach it to an email or text. It was a free Rav download for a lonnng time but I think I'll put it up in my old Absolute Wonder Etsy shop since I've been getting messages from knitters asking where to get the pattern. On another note, four years ago, Jess of Roots and Refuge Farm did a Goat Maternity Photo Shoot. If you want a good laugh it's there for the watching! Have a wonderful time at market and bring home all the things!
I so enjoy your videos. Lots of cool cross stitch pieces. I about done with flag folks. I dislike murky I got the kit from country samplers. Changed the fabric out. I use to make baskets. I never liked doing it. I just buy them now😉
