Just so you know. Bird mouth is a beak. I'm sure you knew but just could not remember. Your projects are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing! And thank your some for helping!
First time viewer, just purchased many HAEDS, Minis, Regular and yes, Max Color! Your work inspires me so much!!! I am going to go back and watch previous videos on your channel. Can't wait to see your progress in 2023! Your WIP Parade was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful WIPs!!! Until next time, I hope to have started my first HAED. Take care.
This was a great video!! I love full coverage pieces so I always enjoy seeing what you have worked on. I am really looking forward to seeing your progress in 2023. Thank you so much fort sharing of your time and talent to show us your WIPs!! Happy stitching………………
Apparently I am your hero 🦸♀️ because I have seen all your beautiful WIPs in one sitting 😂 Thank you for sharing and you are a little crazy with all the supersized ones 🎉
Enjoyed your parade of finishes and wips! All are lovely. I can only imagine how hard it is to film these long videos. Take care and thanks for sharing and thanks to your son for editing.
Always love seeing your WIP parades. They are all such lovely charts and beautifully stitched by yourself. So difficult to hold back and not order new charts. They are so enabling!! Well done. Looking forward to the next flosstube.
I love your chatting and videos! Don’t apologize for being you, you’re great! And your patterns and projects are fun as well! I wonder if you worked on Waterhole Master for two whole days in a row every other week or something… you could get your daily stitch count down a little bit even before Maynia. Based on watching your video, I feel like 500 stitches a day is making your really miss time working on other projects. Just a thought! Obviously you need to do what works best for you at the end of the day. Thank you for making videos and sharing all your projects with us! I look forward to watching your projects come to life this year!
Right now I’m doing 600 most days so the wip count is slowly going down. But I’m trying not to worry about it and just enjoy whatever I’m stitching on.
Yes!!! Best wip parade ever! Love all of your projects and yes to everything Aimee Stewart 🥰. Loved hanging out with you and seeing all of your lovely wips! Of course I made it to the end 🥰
I love Wip parades! You have so many lovely pieces that I would like to stitch. I just got pattern keeper in December and I love it! My full coverage (The Little Cake shoppe by Aimee Stewart) is so much more fun now! I am hooked on full coverage. Your Sunflower cottage looks so fun with all those colours... do you like stitching on it? Is there tons of confetti? Your older boy seems to be such a help to you and your hubby.... doing that excell sheet for you and helping Dad with the new bathroom is wonderful. Glad you are back and thanks for sharing.
I started sunflower cottage on the top and so far there hasn’t been a lot of confetti. The sky is just big blocks of color. No idea about the rest yet but I’m looking forward to it. And pattern keeper definitely is a game changer for us full coverage stitchers!
This was the best! I enjoyed every minute. I want to pick up the Bat from Cottage Garden Samplings one day. I’ll stitch it with you when you start yours. 🎉 xoxo
So much wonderful stitching. I love seeing the jungle animals. I don’t know what the name of the piece is with the purple but it is amazing. You amaze me with how much stitching you get done. Thank you for taking the time to make videos. Y’all are my company
I love playing with my floss so I love blended threads and I love the way they look and I don’t mind half stitches because I used to do needlepoint but I hate! hate! hate! backstitching, and because I hate it so much I make too long of stitches and am a horrible backstitcher! I loved seeing all of your projects ! I have a needle art stamped cross stitch kit that I use to take a break from confetti. Dimensions Twilight Bridge was the first kit I bought when I got into Crosstitch in 2017 and I haven’t even started it yet because like you said, I found other things! I absolutely love full coverage too, and hope to someday do a HAED but I am a monogamous progress stitcher, so I don’t want to start it until I know I can finish it! 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Again I LOVED this video!!😃
Wow! I guess that makes me a hero because I watched your whole video! I loved it and would have watched anyway! I didn’t realize you started the Riolis Hedgehogs. I started that pattern the same time as Gerald and Buckeye stitcher also. But I have less done than you so you’re ahead of me. Every time I see you working on Peacock Plumage I want to start mine! It is so beautiful with all the bright colors. Thank you for joining in on full coverage February! And don’t worry about my name, Ive been called all kinds of Colette variations, such as nicknames Corvette, and Coulottes by my high school friends, to Colleen and Colette with one t and two l’s. It comes with the territory 😂
Just like with my name! To hard for most so I listen to everything that comes close😄 I didn’t know you had peacock plumage as well! You should definitely start it! So good to know I’m not the only one still not finished with the hedgehogs, even though they’re so cute.
Of course I made it to the end!!!😊 Beautiful projects! I am not going to pick a favourite, there are too many! I do love your Hiding Place though, I completely forgot you were working on this one! It's gorgeous!! 😍 Thanks for taking the effort to sit down and show us all your WIPs!🥰
You’re MY hero! 😊 Thank you so much for a great WIP parade! Love, love, love the full coverage. I’m about 1/3 complete on Aimee Stewart’s A Stitching Shelf. And LOVE your chatting… please be yourself & don’t change! ❤ Kim from Canada 🇨🇦
No, YOU are the hero! So nice to see you again, yes, you accomplished a marathon doing this WIP parade, a challenge for you, a veritable treat for us! I still say you need a museum if your own to display your masterpieces. I feel your pain regarding the Theresa Wentzler chart, I still have one from 35 years ago. I am most thoroughly disappointed with my chatelaine. For the huge amount of $$ I spent including both a pdf & a paper chart, I still can’t do it. It won’t load into pattern keeper correctly & the office stores won’t enlarge it for me because it’s copyrighted, even though it says right on it that it was purchased by me. I’m totally bummed. So stand up & take a bow, you are the BEST!!
Thank you for the Wip Parade! Perfect timing for me since I'm trying to get as much stitching in as possible for 24 hours of cross stitch. Love your finishes! I finished 2022 with 84 wips. I think 8 or 9 of them are full coverage. Trying to limit new starts this year. I have a couple Max color charts but no super sized. The thought of super sized intimidates me. I have a few of the same projects as you. I'm still working on the Blue Butterfly, mini Sunflower Cottage, and Twisted Rainbow Sampler. I started Once Upon A Fairytale at the end of last year. Take care and enjoy your stitching.
Loved it all, from Waterhole to the Raccoon! You are the reason I tried my first full coverage, I now have 2 and a 3rd ready to start! So hard not to start all the things, you have some really beautiful pieces. Thank you for spending so much time filming to share it all and thank you to your son for the editing. X
I was so excited when I saw you posted a video again! It has been a while. I love seeing your projects. They are beautiful. Can’t wait until your next video 😊
It’s always a joy to see you❤️. Your projects are always amazing and gorgeous ❤️❤️. You are a fast stitcher and your progress is always very impressive ❤️❤️. Can’t wait to see what you do by your next video. I hope you have a great couple of weeks, stay safe and happy stitching always❤️❤️
That was just amazing - loved every minute of it and could happily have watched for longer! 😂 And I had to keep stopping every few minutes to add new charts to my HAED Wishlist 🤦♀️😂
Dit was een super video. Of was het een film😉. De beste van dit jaar. Natuurlijk tot einde gekeken. Zulke prachtige projecten. Happy stitching!
I LOVE your pieces!!! I have much the same attitude as you regarding focusing on one piece to get it done and not a million little starts. Your selection of projects is beautiful! Thank you for taking all that time to show us your work!!!♥😍
Great WIP parade, I love all your projects! I was wondering if you could share or show how you stitch in hand on such large projects, I have just started my first Aimee Stewart and feeling overwhelmed by all the fabric.
I’m finally watching your WIP parade and I just got to the part (18 minutes in) where you showed your full coverage spreadsheet and… WOW!!! I love that! I haven’t watched the whole video so maybe you already mentioned this later in the video but my first thought was to ask how many stitches TOTAL do you have left to finish ALL of your full coverages?? 😃😍 I love your videos… seeing your projects is inspiring and brings me so much joy 🥰
wow I almost missed this 😱 - on my youtube feed a podcast I listen to must have been having problems, they uploaded their latest podcast 3 times, then re-uploaded it three more times the next day and I missed all the videos (including yours) that were uploaded in between. The adrenaline rush when I happened to scroll past and found it was real lol. You aren't the last one to do a WIP parade - I filmed one last week I just have to do the editing 😬 You are the hero for getting all your WIPs out to show us, it's a huge job, and in my opinion better than a movie/tv show so thank you for taking the time to do it!
I was worried you won't make a WIP parade video this year. I was really happy when I saw you did! I know, that video, must have been tiresome for you but it was really fun for me, well I guess not just me, but probably for all of us that watched it. Thank you very much for one more, very pleasant, stitching video. Looking forward to your next one. Oh! I forgot to say that your projects are, as always, amazing 🧵🪡 P.S. Many thanks to your son, for giving you a hand with editing. He increases the possibilities that you make a video, plus he does a great job 🎞📽📚
Echt prachtig!!
I am full of admiration that you are doing so many, such large projects at the same time. I was wondering if you could share how you organize your floss supplies and how you organize your floss threads for each project?
Haha, you're as bad as me with apologizing for a long rambly video and I loved spending so much time with you! And yes, I'm doing Gypsy Firefly, too, max color. You're memory is better than you think 😆. Really enjoyed seeing all your pieces in one spot and I love that you're letting your heart guide you on whatever you want to stitch this year 💙
I enjoyed this so much I might actually watch it again! Don't feel bad about the bell pull. Blends are a lot to deal with. I'll tease you about it for the next 20 years, but my feelings are not hurt at all. We have the raccoon (which you didn't actually show). I wanted to see how far you've gotten, but unless I missed something you didn't actually hold up the project. I could've missed it. I tried to back it up, but work is busy and the baby is here and Taco is still sick. There's a lot happening. Anyway, loved the WIP parade! ~J
Forgetting to actually show the project sounds totally like me😅 I hope Taco will be all better soon. Do they know what’s wrong with him? It’s been almost a week now, right? Poor dog and poor you❤️ And I expect the teasing. Bring it on😜
@@therockingstitcher I think you got distracted by the other chart that was with it. That's alright. I'm sure you'll show it sometime this year and I'll get to see your progress. I haven't taken Taco to the vet because he's so traumatized by vet visits. He's getting better. I have avoided all human foods of any kind for him and while he's still having issues, the issues are fewer and further between now. I think things are getting better. I'm about 99% sure he's suffering from doggy dementia so I know his time is limited. He also had a UTI a couple of weeks ago, but I was able to give him antibiotics and it cleared up within a week. I've done a lot of laundry and spent a tremendous amount of time outside with him this last month. It's hard and it's sad, but I would want someone to take care of me if I needed help so it's the least I can do for him.
Once one gets past creating all the blends on a Theresa Wentzler, making up new blends as needed isn’t too terrible. But it can definitely be a chore, especially on blend heavy patterns. There are full coverage companies who use blends as well, but not too many. For your dislike of half stitch, depending on the chart, would using 1 strand of floss in full cross help give the lighter feel but not hurt your brain.
First I wish a happy new year and wish you all the best for 2023. I always love your videos, even if they are long ones. I have so much in my mind, I will try to remember everything : For dimensions, put your fabric in warm water to dissolve the starch. I stitch in hands, I don’t love hard fabric. If you just let it soak in water, it will become so much more easier to stitch in hand for you About your goals and seeing 10k on a project but don’t want to put other projects aside : why don’t you make 10k / 20k / etc goals ? I know with your big waterhole master you have a lot on your plate, but you will felt less guilty with projects that are far more advanced (it can be 10k / 15k / 20k… I am not a monogamous stitcher, but I need to change project each week and I keep my Saturday for sewing and other crafts. I understand that feeling of seeing good chunks of progress on one piece instead of have a lot of small progress on a lot of piece. I have tried both method, I prefer good chunk on less pieces
Yes I’ve definitely done that with aida and it helps. And the qsnap helps too so that works well together😊 Problem (not really a problem just a bit of a dilemma) is that o have so many pieces that I can’t reach those goals on everything next to waterhole master. But it will be fun to see what I can accomplish!
This was great! Your company was just what I needed while I stitched. Who ended up with the fewest WIPs from your friendly competition....you or Debbie?
I really enjoyed seeing everything. There were so many that I had forgot you were stitching. Do you know if there's a # for Marjolein Bastin's 4 seasons? I have that kit as well, haven't started it yet though. Thank you for making this WIP parade, I always like hearing you chat about your stitching. Love and hugs, Diane 😘
Wacht ff... Pakt afstandsbediening... Spoelt RU-vid 10 seconden terug... Hoor ik dat nou goed? Heb je inmiddels 25 full coverage WIPs? 😱😱😱 Maaaaholey, wat GOED! 😂 You go, girl!
