My son is also graduating this year. Very busy life. I love stitching full coverages pieces and have collected quite a few (many) HAEDs. I currently have 2 stockings, 2 minis and 1 full design going. I also have 2 more kitted up. All of these projects have their own floss as I am just getting back into cross stitching. Going forward I think I will just have a master set and do it that way. 🤩

My rule for crossstitch is to finish 3 pieces and I get to buy one pattern, its hard to follow, but it works for me, love your stitching

Congrats on gaining so many new subscribers! I am amazed at how much you get done while working two jobs, truly impressive! Honeybee Quaker is one of my WIPs too, I’m really enjoying it and it will be my first pillow🤞I do have a master set of DMC floss, but I still kit projects up individually and I return the remaining DMC back with the set. Make time for yourself during the graduation festivities, it’s a huge chapter change in life and you deserve some downtime! 😲😳🤩

You have fast become one of my favorite Flosstube channels. Our taste is so similar and we both stitch on Aida. I used to always work from a master set of Dmc but since going down that flosstube rabbit hole I now kit up and keep the floss with the project. Most full coverage projects may even use more than one skein. I belong to the Stitches Sew Beautiful facebook group but haven’t seen any post about coupons. I’ll have to keep an eye on that group. Thanks for sharing.🤩

😮 With each project I have fully kitted them up. I don’t have a full set of dmc yet. I have now kitted 6. With each new project I check to see how much I have left from past projects and use what I can. I got my first haed recently and with some colours they have 30000 stitches, with those I go totally new skeins as I was concerned about dye lot issues 💜

😮 I recently switched to only filming monthly as well. It really takes the pressure off. And you are already so busy with regular life, dont add to it with Flosstube

So I'm sitting down to catch up with you and stitch and what?!?!? Oh my, you shouted me out! I had to go back to make sure, so surprised! You are so sweet thank you! Always lovely to stitch with you. You've had a ton of progress. I had not seen the Library of dogs yet, wow! I enjoy the half stitches on full coverage for that reason- get more done faster. As for your question- I have a few full coverages and only one is fully kitted up. It was my first one. On the others, I pull from a master set. I haven't picked them up recently, but when I do, I just pull the next few colors. Might be different when I get to the heavy confetti. Ha. Happy Stitching friend and I don't know where the wow face is but insert that here : ) Looking forward to your next video!

Thank you for the shoutout. Love your new patterns. I kit up each pattern with its own floss. But I buy cxc. So I worry about dye lots. If your using dmc you wouldn’t have to worry about dye lots so much. But I would still worry that dmc could change dye lots at any time and you would have any issue 😮. Fantastic video. Hugs 🤗 Tania.

I am a full coverage stitcher and work from a master set. However, I do buy skeins for projects where there are lots of block stitches to avoid dye lot issues.😮

I'm a newer stitcher, but right now I have separate floss for each project I'm doing. I think for full coverages, I might always just buy new floss as the Winnie the Pooh one I'm doing called for like 100 skeins of floss.

Ohhh I'm glad I found you! Love your patterns. I love the stitching so beautiful patterns! This is bad for my wallet! Lol. I love farm patterns! So cute! I almost bought the library of dogs also. I will probably have to buy that one day. I do all my full coverage as tent stitch. So much faster and looks just as good!

Beautiful stitching. I have an Apple phone too but I totally bought a tablet for pattern keeper. It’s worth it in my mind. I’m not a markup xp fan. I feel it isn’t as user friendlyz (or maybe its user error😂) You bought so many beautiful patterns!
