I love the Kringle Tree Farm story! So delightful!! I have been learning finishing my stitchy pieces in different ways. They are not great. But, they are better than the cereal box and lace finishes from high school. 😊

Just returned from a memorial service that my cousin had for her husband. I am going to stitch Comfort & Joy as a small gift for her. Great to see you today, Misty! Love all of your new designs, especially Kringle's Tree Farm. I will look forward to seeing you at the Jingle Ball - my first time attending. How fun that you are learning watercolor! My sister recently visited and we went to a U-pick Flower and Watercolor event... we went out and picked a bouquet of flowers and then did a watercolor of our flower bouquet... it was a lot of fun. My sister is quite good at it; she has taken several classes as well. One of the neat things she has done is incorporate watercolor into a travel journal of a recent trip to England.. it's fantastic. Can't wait for the Jingle Ball! Your foray into the world of art is wonderful and you look like you thoroughly enjoy it. You asked if we are starting a new hobby and I am. I have dabbled in almost all of the different types of needlework since I was a child. I am now in my vintage years and to pivot my mind to something wholly new, we bought an X-Tool S1 cutter & engraver machine and I will have to learn a computer program (egads) so I can use it with different materials (woods, slate, etc). This will be a challenge, but you have enabled me try it and not expect perfection right away. Have a lovely Thanksgiving. Oh, and your Christmas decor is delightful!

Yeah I’m so happy to see you today Misty! Girl I have gone down every crafty hole you can imagine except diamond painting, no interest there! I have some amazing art supplies and pens and inks and paints and chalks and I dabble in calligraphy also! I make wreaths, crochet, sew, quilt, goodness but my true love is stitching and I used to do hardanger but no longer, I cross stitch all the time if I’m not working! I think as we evolve we change and grow so any hobby or outlet is amazing and I’m so happy you are doing new things! Love your new designs and I’ll see you at the Jingle Ball! Happy Thanksgiving!

Love the new designs! I stitched Comfort & Joy for Christmas in July and already have Merry & Bright kitted up! 😊 Looking forward to the Jingle Ball…will definitely stop by your stitching table…I’ll be grading presentations and writing final exams that weekend and the following week.

I know stitchers will show and share their progress on Facebook and flosstube. I didn't sign up for Jingle Ball. It slipped my mind. I just taught Swedish Weaving at my embroidery guild. I had not done Swedish weaving in years. The ladies enjoyed it! Have a nice Thanksgiving and wonderful weekend!

I am trying Foundation Paper Piecing. It was hard the first time and I almost quit but I preserved and when it was done I found I wanted to do it again. I had the same talk… I can’t be perfect or good at something I have never done yet. 😳😁 Can’t wait to see you at the Ball.

Love the new designs. Can't wait for the Jingle Ball! I went last year and really enjoyed it. Have you watched Teresa Kogut's videos of her painting? I am not artistic but I am fascinated by seeing others create art. I watched some videos last year of Aaron of Autumn Lane Stitchery showing how he creates his art digitally. Very fun to watch.
