You are correct, cancer is a small word but it encompasses so many large emotions, I was diagnosed last November and currently undergoing chemotherapy so I can understand the ups and downs that you are experiencing. I am sure your Dad appreciates your loving support. Hang in there & keep stitching!

I like how you offered two color ways for the bird pattern. Best wishes to your Dad. Cancer has become more and more treatable, but the treatment is intense to say the least. My Dad has completed treatment for prostate cancer and several skin cancers. It’s been very difficult. 😞

I participated in the "Make with Tiger Lily" class and it was great! Can't wait until the Project Keeper make-a-long :). I think a knitting bag is next with scraps (plus other material) from the mini-keeper. I need to catch up on my Dimensions Petite SAL...but I started 3 months late so... Prayers for your family. ❤

I read that when it first came out and was fascinated by the tale. I think I need to find my copy and reread it again soon. Enjoy! I like to check out audiobooks from the library and listen to them while I am stitching or cooking: I have the Libby app and the Hoopla app on my phone. If the library doesn’t have the book I want, I can use Audible.

I finally ordered and received my Dimensions kit so I can participate in the SAL. I remembered that you weren’t crazy about the stiff nature of the fabric. Last night I filled my sink with cold water and soaked the fabric for about 45 minutes. I did not agitate it at all or wring it out. I hung it to dry overnight and the fabric has a perfect feel…softer but not too soft. That bag is stunning!! Aren’t you blessed!!
