I couldn't believe it when I opened it up and read the title. I just knew it was meant to be. I can only hope that my stitching will be as nice as hers. I'm thinking that when I finish it that it should go back to her niece. Linda
Not much shedding with golden doodles we have 2, out Saint Bernard sheds so much from his tail you could spin it and knit a sweater in about a week! We adore all of our fur babies and you will as well❤

I can so relate, we just got a 3 month th old Shih Tzu. It's just like having a baby in the house. Lol We also have a rescue and they are getting along great. We do crate them at night too. Plus we have a cat who decided to live with us. We are in our 70's so this will keep us very active. To get to our fenced in area we have to go through the basement. Lots of up and down the stairs. We are wore out haha Love having met you at the Anabellas retreat. Good luck with your puppy. Pray for us.

My mom had a hard time when her father started seeing someone after her mom passed. The new person obviously could tell, so she pulled my mom to the side one day. She explained, "your mom was your dad's soul mate love, I'm not trying to replace or erase that. I just simply want to be his companion love. That was all it took! Mama didnt want my Granddaddy to stop living and stare at 4 walls for years, she just needed that acknowledgement.. Thanks for sharing.

I have just started Zucca. I accidently ordered a sparkly fabric, Opalescent Raw Linen Aida, so I decided to bling up the whole thing. I some how missed the word opalescent! I'm using DMC Mouline Etoile floss Orange C740 for the pumpkin. Where there are 'dots' on the chart I think I'll use beads. I haven't settled on a stem color. There are not really any good choices that work with my fabric. I bought a Green C840, even though a tan would be more correct. My chart calls for DMC 906, which is really light & bright, but the cover photo shows a much deeper green. Also I already have orange & dark green beads so I will probally just use the Green C840. I'm 75 and really should do more stitching from stash.
I am right there with you as I'll be 75 next year. I'm trying my hardest to stitch from stash but sometimes those new With Thy Needle or Plum Streets call me name. If you're on Instagram I hope you share the finish of your Zucca. Linda
