Enjoyed watching, I love my gardening and I am very happy when a hear a bee buzzing near me, I love to sit in the garden and stitch, thread, fabric and good design and I am a very happy lady.

I love hearing from the journal it is really fascinating, my mum never kept anything, letters,cards all went in the bin , I keep everything and love to reread letters, we had a huge queen bee flying around the garden this morning, it is starting to get a bit warmer here and it lovely to see everything come to life, I love to take my fabric and sit out in the garden and stitch listening to the birds and the hum of the insects.

Hi Carla, the retreat you attended sounded like so much fun. I loved seeing the progress on your cross stitching. It's so pretty. Your cat is beautiful! I saw several patterns; I just have to have. I have a bed in my bonnet over the new SAL. I have everything ready to go on Tuesday! I have worked at home for 30+ years. It wasn’t as quiet when my kids were home…but for the past 9 years, I only have my husband to talk to as well…and he travels. We lost our dog last summer and I miss having him to talk to. Now my husband can’t figure out why I’m such a chatterbox when he gets home. 😂. Enjoy the quiet…I tell myself to enjoy not having all his noises. 😊

On the binding you might try Elmer's glue and an iron. It would hold it in place and then you can sew it down

Homemade Emily Jane has a great tip for binding: sew front of binding, use Aileen’s glue and iron down back of binding. Sew front in the ditch. Bee, bonnet, spooky, mother, acorn. Thank you💝

Carla, also, ISeeStars quilting advises, cut your binding 3” instead of 2 1/2”. Have fun farming. Don’t work too hard. Get some stitchy time in🌷🌷🌷🌷

I have a Fishers retractably rotary cutter, ergonomic handle too, love it. The video lighting was fine. I love any kind of fabric. I enjoyed as usual the Fun travel story. Did her Mother do any driving?

Wonderful! It is an absolutely stunning design. Last night I realized the current row I'm just finishing is ONE stitch off to the right. I was devastated but I decided because it's a band sampler that I will just fudge it - as long as the very bottom floral design is correct I hope it will be noticeable only to me. Please tag me when you start to share your progress on the design.
