Magic study is such a purple heavy design and dmc as you pointed out struggles in the purple department. So I’m not surprised people feel torn about it. (And the issue with rainbow study being released which is basically the same design but not limited edition.) If another company were able to get its license, I wonder how they would approach the dmc lack of purples issue. Going to anchor is an option…except dmc just bought them so will they keep the anchor colors? Should an independent floss dyers purples be used?
Well done on your finish, she is beautiful. I had a giggle during your ANZAC longdog because I am from that little forgotten island and when you held up the pattern I immediately searched to see is Tassie was there. This pattern will have to go on my wishlist as it's the first Longdog I could consider doing 😀 good luck with the drought!
