Always good to see your beautiful work. All the best for the arrival of the twins - so exciting. I probably get about 4 hours of stitching done in the evenings. I like to quilt during the day, when I can, but stitching is usually at night while my husband watches endless murder mysteries on tv!! Have a great week.

I stitch from 4:00-10:30 every evening, taking an hour for dinner and cleanup. Your Christmas finishes that you framed yourself are absolutely beautiful. Do you pin or lace when you finish your own work? I'm going to try lacing on my next finish. I just love listening to you, Lori. I don't get as many hours stitching as I wish. It just varies. Can more rows be added to your first scarf to make the ends longer. Hi Lori! Your knitting shawl is really pretty. I've been knitting since I was a young girl. My mother taught me. I haven't been knitting very much at all lately. Most of my crafting time is spent cross stitching, and quilting. Since I broke a bone in my foot, I've only been cross stitching. I'm not sure how much time I spend cross stitching per day, but it's probably about one to two hours. 3 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and enjoy those little twins when they arrive. I stitch for about 2-3 hours a day usually, sometimes more at the weekend. If Bella’s napping during the day I can sometimes get some done, and then in the evenings when she’s in bed. Lori, I like the second choice of colors . I think those colors that you stitched on the beige fabric would have worked on the gray you dyed. It looks great on the beige too. I actually like what you've stitched on your original Cranberry Christmas Ornament on your fabric. I completely understand, though, when something doesn't look like you want it to. The second version is lovely, too. I think Needleworker's Delight is now one of the closest LNS's to me. It's on my list of shops to visit, but I've been so busy with schoolwork, that road trips get put on the back burner. Once I finish up after next semester, I'll have more time to spend on all aspects of stitching - shopping, collecting and actually stitching :). Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Lori! Nora Corbett's piece is gorgeous! I've never seen that one. I wish I could use a qsnap. It's so tight that I have a problem getting the snaps off because they are so tight. The time has also come for me to ask my pharmacist to not give me the childproof lids. I can't open them! Oy vey! "Welcome Friends" is pretty. I also like the vibrant colors. And I love "Scottish House Sampler" It's gorgeous! I need to look for that. What a difference with your new choice of fabric for "Cranberry Christmas". I like the new fabric. The quilt is beautiful. Another lovely video! I also have the Cranberry Christmas pattern-- I should start on it too! I only get to stitch 30-45 minutes per day when I'm on a hospital rotation (I'm a medical student) but when I'm in a clinic month, I can usually squeeze in a full hour everyday! Hi Lori, your projects are absolutely lovely! I have an idea how you could fix your gray shawl. What about putting a biggish yarn tassel on each corner? The scarf points would hang down longer and weight it down a bit.maybe like about 3” tassels. Just a thought. And your Mandela shawl is just lovely. Your quilt is so pretty too. I love the colors. And I’m nuts about that cute Autumn piece written out. That comes out beautiful doesn’t it? Thank you.😅

I just finished Winter yesterday and had waited until the end. The reason was because I had never done backstitching before. I agree that green was a little bright. The finished one is really pretty. Lori, you always have such great progress on your projects. I stitch usually 3 to 4 hours a day. But I am a very slow stitcher apparently! Lol! My to do stack gets larger and my finishes is still very small. But I enjoy the process, it is my relaxation time. Happy Thanksgiving! And I love number 2, it reminds me of my grandmother.

Thank you for another inspiring video. I stitch 3 - 4 hours a day, mostly in the mornings and evenings. I like #3. My husband and I like to watch football this time of year and I stitch, listen to the commentary, and then look up to watch the replay. 😜. I think the fabric you dyed for the Christmas ornament is beautiful; but suited for a different color family, not bright colors. I think a winter scene stitched in white would look amazing on that fabric. You are very talented in your stitching, quilting, knitting and framing. Love your videos!

I really liked the sulky threads on Cranberry Christmas. I would love to see your ornaments. Everything you do is so beautiful. I try to stitch 1-3 hours a day but there are days I just stitch what I can. Life gets in the way. Lol #2 is a stitch I have on my wish list. I have an original singer that my Grandmother sewed on when she was young. I have made my Grandchildren items using that machine & can't imagine how she could use that foot pump and not be worn out. I liked the second cranberry Christmas as it looked more subdued colors. I don’t know if it was the fabric or the flosses. The fabric you dyed looked beautiful.

Hello Lori, I am glad you added on the second part of your video. I have used the Lion brand Mandala for several shawls and really love the changes in colors and feel. The Shawl in a cake or also comes in a ball makes a gorgeous shawl. If one skein doesn't make the size of shawl you want add another skein. Between knitting, crocheting and quilting, I am on a cross kick right now and stitch between 3 and 6 hours a day. I go through withdrawals if I don't hold a needle in my hand every day. Always fun to see what you have worked on and how you finish your projects. I usually sttich about 2 to 3 hours a day with an occasional weekend of marathon stitching. I have been watching you for awhile but have never commented. I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy watching you and your projects are all so gorgeous! I appreciate that you are not a linen stitcher and that I can envision my projects to look like yours because I do not stitch on linen. You have opened my mind up to many new designers and patterns that I wouldn’t normally pick out . However seeing your work enabled me! You must be a faster stitcher than me because your one day work on the Gentleman’s Quaker would have taken me many days. It is so beautiful…really love the colors. I look forward to your future videos! PS. I stitch after work about 3-4 hours and on weekends much more! Also well wishes are sent out to upcoming birth of the twins and their mama. Hi Lori! Your stitching is beautiful! I usually stitch one or two hours per day now that we’re getting into the holidays. Other times of year, it’s more if I can. 2 would be wonderful please.

There are some days I don’t stitch at all - gasp. Weekdays usually allow only 1 hour but weekends I can stitch a lot more - between loads of laundry etc. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.

I think the hand-dyed fabric is too dark for it. The cover photos to me always look a bit different for the floss colors. 2nd one is very nice! I try to get 3 hrs total for a day, but if I only stitch at night then I get an hr minimum. Cute charts, not entering though. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
