Love your Honest Abe and His eye is on the sparrow patterns. Beautiful stitching. I am like you as far as when a pattern is popular I stay away from it for a couple of years. As I watch floss tubes I am amazed at how much money is being invested in cross stitch. While most projects remain unfinished, with intentions of finishing them one day. Just an observation no judgement I am including myself with that! Loved your projects!
Hi Liz, good to see you again. The honest Abe stitch if you look at finally a farm girl video she stitched the model and showed it on her channel maybe a year or two ago? It’s so beautiful! As far as Adam and Eve, I would just put clothes on them like fig leaves etc. They are a part of the story, a huge part. Have a great vacation and a safe summer.
Hi. Nice WIP parade. Just a quick note: if you have a page or a square finish in the pattern keeper, you can press hold it in that page or square (without any symbol selected) and it will give you an option to mark all the symbols in that area. So you will not have to do all the colours stitched bit by bit for that long. Hope that helps.
What a beautiful collection of WIPS! I love your choices and seeing your progress!! I am a retired teacher and can appreciate your challenges with time! I truly hope you have a blessed summer and can take/make some stitching time for yourself to count your blessings!!
I love so many of your projects! His Eye is in the Sparrow is on my stitchy bucket list. Have you watched Jackie on Comfort Stitching yet? Check out her first video and see how she adapted her project to document her family story.
Liz, It is wonderful to see you again. Thank you for sharing your projects. I wish you well with your kids home all summer. Take time to stitch. Happy stitching. Best, K
Hi Liz, I enjoyed your wip parade. Coincidently, after watching your video I watched the Comfort Stitcher's first flosstube and she showed her Consider the Lillies. She has changed the Adam and Eve to represent her Grandparents as well as putting their initials in the cartouche. Thought you might be interested! 😊
Loved it all, a super wip parade! No I don’t have a lns, one 4 hrs away. Hmm Adam and Eve maybe fig leaves. Think finally a farmgirl stitched the Abe one. Thanks for a great video. Have a fun summer!
Oh your finishes are gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing. I live in the Adirondacks. I hope you have or had a great time, (not sure when you are going). I hope you come back soon.......

Glad to see you back! Loved seeing all of you WIPS, especially His Eye is on the Sparrow. I'm slowly working on that also. Happy Birthday and have a great vacation:)
I just watched all your videos this weekend! I love your projects and the worm video from the early videos was so funny and so relatable (I'm a mom to 4 boys).
So nice to see your update! That full coverage is fabulous! I have just started one but I think I already regret my choice of fabric! I enjoyed seeing the wide variety of projects you are working on. Happy Birthday!
Welcome back! I loved your video. You have a very subtle sense of humor that comes out and gives me a good giggle. Where did the kiddos go on a mission trip to?
Your flosstube just popped up and I loved everything you had to show - have subscribed and I plan to watch the rest of your videos soon. Your finishes are so beautiful.
So good to see you back. Abby's a noisy sleeper. Lol love our fur babies. Love your projects especially Abe Lincoln. Don't think anyone is stitching it. Beautiful! 😊
Im a traditionalist…I like a reproduction to be as the little girl stitched it with my details on the piece in the margin and on the back if framed. I do not like weird people either…naked nor dressed…when this became apparent I destashed all the samplers with people in my cupboard…..you are not strange! Or if you are I am too! I find myelf stitching lots of flowers animals and alphabets…there are plenty to choose from!
I don’t like naked people on my stitching which will be on my wall because I have my grandchildren over and I don’t want to be the one to explain. So I either gravitate away from anything with Adam and Eve or just not stitch them. My husband has a hard time with reproduction samplers because he doesn’t want to have a strangers name on our wall. So if I really love a reproduction sampler I change out the name to a family member. It’s our work even though we are copying a little girls sampler.
