The yarn is to separate bundles of floss at least when I did this kit, it did that, so example.the green yarn has black stitch floss. So you can easily separate the colors properly.in the paper instructions it should tell you what floss colors go to what yarn bundle color. Hope I explained thst rigjt.

Wow you have so many kits, I am stitching the Victorian Charm, and Kingdom of books, (2 of 41 wips lol)but I just bought the charts so am stiching them from my extensive stash 🤣

38:09 those are Eastern Bluebirds. They are native to the eastern US. The blue on them when they are in flight is very striking. Your next birds are blue jays and also US natives. They’re a bit bigger than bluebirds. It’s a bit of a bully around bird feeders. :-)

I was about to come on to say this too, my old large Gold Collection had 4 sets of floss bundles and they were tied with blue, pink, green and white wool so you could figure out which floss when on to each floss card and help you match the colours to each floss number marked on card.
We have so many patterns in common. I have several of the oriental pieces and the kingdom of books. The Buddha one is on my wish list in my head. All beautiful kits. Thank you for sharing them!
The wool on the older Dimensions kits is just there to identify the bundles of thread. When you read the instructions, it'll tell you to look for x coloured wool bound bundle :) lovely selection of kits. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow, so many kits to choose from. I have one Gold Collection Dimension kit from years ago I am still working on slowly. Just managed to get the PDF chart which makes it much clearer to see on my Goodnotes now so busy crossing off all the stitches I have completed and then I am going to work on this in April along with your All the Kits April. I may even crack open a Buttons and Beads kit too 😊 Very tempted to try a Luca-S kit as there are quite a few designs I like.
