I live in Cairns Queensland and don't have any cross stitch shops up here. I do by DMC from spotlight. I now buy my patterns from 123 stitch. They seem to have everything. Their shipping is the same as you get charged in Australia. It was $5.99 USD which is about $10 oz. It just went up to $6.99. It takes about three weeks to get here. My orders from A Stitch in Time Tasmania took 2 weeks. Happy stitching. 😊
I haven’t used 123 stitch yet I’ll get on to it now :-) I recently did an order from a stitch in time it was around the 2 week mark for me too, I use jks cross stitching supplies mostly - thanks for sharing x
💀 just found your channel and loved seeing all of your projects! Im a new stitcher so hearing about the fabrics was super helpful, especially as I try to learn snd find what works for me as a newbie. The garden of oddities was stunning! Thank you! 💜🩶
Hi. I'm another first time viewer to your channel. I've loved seeing your WIPs and the gorgeous fabrics. I did have a look at Paddock Lane fabrics, but since I'm in Canada, postage would be close to $40 shipping. I have a couple of the Emma Congdon books and took them to a business center, and had them slice the spine off very thinly, and put a coil on them. I do think that only 1 symbol in the two books was affected. I can take a couple pictures to show you how it looks with the coils. It then makes it so much easier to make a working copy from.
I agree with you, the bushfire from Paddock Lane Designs is incredible. I'm also from Australia so it is great to see someone discussing the items that are available to us, keep it up 💀
Hi Peggy. Thanks for a great WIP parade. You have some amazing projects. I have just found you and looking forward to watching more from you. If it is still available I would love to adopt your Horrorflies wip. It is one I have been thinking of doing but haven't got around to it yet. Thanks and happy stitching. ☠
Hey lovely it has was claimed pretty quickly! But if it’s something you’ve been looking at definitely do it! The pattern is really easy to read and they have a Facebook page for it where people posted theirs and any changes they made which was really cool 😎
I just stumbled upon you looking at WP parades, and was so great to see another Australian disability sector worker who stitches! Also, jumped straight on Paddock Lane to order 4 pieces.
@@Peggys_still_stitching Blush, lemon meringue, eucalypt forest and dark sky. I normally stitch on browns and greys, but though this would be a good excuse to try some colours!
Peggy...enjoyed your visit...your project keepers are beautiful, as well as fabric...I live in the USA...and Australia is a place I want to visit...we do have and abundance of fabric and floss...thanks for all that you shared...I love all your projects...best wishes❤
You have amazing wips. Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favourite movie. If you ever want to sell your pattern, I would love to buy it! All your project keepers are beautiful. I just found you and am so glad I did, I have to go watch all of your previous videos. Thank you for keeping me company while I stitch☠
💀 fellow Aussie stitcher who’s watched all your stitchy videos. I now have a fabric stash courtesy of your introduction of Paddock Lane Designs! Keep stitching, we love watching 😊
Thanks again for being here 💕 any ideas on a next start for Christmas in July - you saw my currents but I’d like to throw in a new one lol why not I think
🏴☠️ great wip parade! I like to see the Australian stitchers floss tubes as you have different style of patterns that I may not have seen in other videos!
