Welcome to my Flosstube and WIP Parade of my older WIPs. Thanks so much for watching!
I will be doing a 2nd WIP Parade at the end of the year with all the 60 starts in 2023 for my 60th birthday.

I know, so many!! I'm glad to focus on my wips in 2024. I filmed the wip parade during the daytime, which was nice! I film my regular flosstubes after work on Wednesdays normally sp the lighting is different.

Never thought I would be interested in stitching a Long Dog sampler, although I think they’re all beautiful, but after seeing You Belong to Me, I may just bite the bullet and get that one. Enjoyed seeing all your older WIPs and look forward to your 60 new ones. Happy stitching!

I think for Houses of Hawk Run Hollow, you should move on to the next house while you decide what to do with the first one - whether it's to change the color or just keep going. But working on the other houses along with it will make it more "bearable"!!! Loved revisitng your old WIPs.

Thanks, Debbie! I'm wondering if it might be the fabric as well as the thread color. Maybe better on a less brown fabric or on a linen instead of aida...when I pulled it out for the wip parade, it got me thinking that I really wasn't fond of the fabric either.

I love all of the variegated floss you use, I get them and think boy that's pretty but no idea what I'd use it on, you've inspired me! And I'm not a huge fan of Long Dog but I did really like that "Spangled". Hope you had a great birthday!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your prior to '23 WIPS and look forward to your 60 new starts. I am stitching Live on Little 1 over 1 on 25 count Lugana and am about 70% complete - I think the detail becomes clearer on higher count fabrics as they become more photographic in appearance. I'll look forward to hearing if you agree as you progress.

Hi Sue! I agree on details usually becoming clearer on higher count. I think it'll be interesting to see if I have any issues with Live on Little, actually heard about it from more than one person, so we'll see whether or not that's the case. I have “you belong to me”, “Rosemarkie” and “wedding”. I heard from Stitchin Mommy that on leap year day is long dog day. You start one and have four years to complete it. Im going to start Rosemarkie. Happy Birthday!!! 💛🪡💛

@@thesteadfaststitcher thank you for letting me know! I am just starting out with them! The big ones are as big as my two HaED’s! But I think they would stitch up faster because I would see objects to stitch and not just another diagonal of DMC 939 or DMC 310. (Depending which one I’m stitching. 😂). Happy Stitching 💛🪡💛

Happy Birthday! Such an amazing WIP parade - I loved it. We stitch so many of the same patterns - especially Long Dogs. I want to follow the same rule in 2024 - two finishes before a start. How do you decide what to work on? I use a tiny decision wheel app. I always love what comes up because I love all my WIPS!

Hi! I do love my Long Dogs❤️. I use the Acrostic puzzles to help guide me on what to work on then the tiny decisions wheel for anything after that. Thanks so much for the birthday wishes 😊
