This was immensely helpful! I'm new to hand stitching but also new to pain, tremors and neuropathy in my hands. Not bad, but the fatigue you mentioned occurs before I even start! I watched a couple videos of yours tonight that the items you used might be worth me checking into just for more ease and enjoyment while learning to IMPROVE my skills😊 New subscriber
I have both the frame and the light that you are using. Have to say that your light is sooooo much brighter than mine. Are you plugging it into a computer to power it? I’m using batteries … maybe that’s why my light isn’t as bright. Thanks so much for the video!
My light is plugged in a USB wall plug. I just use the plug/charger that came with my iPhone. I’ve not tried it with batteries. I use an extension cord when working too far from the wall plug. 😉
Do you have the long screw under the clamp? It holds the top of the clamp a bit more vertical and creates a tight hold. Sometimes it takes a bit of a nudge to get mine to loosen up when I want to take the qsnap out. Both of mine hold quite firmly. I had another brand that would clamp too vertically and not hold it well enough for me. Try adjusting that under screw perhaps.
