Stuart, my friend. You set me off down a rabbit hole here after seeing your beautiful work on Maximum Cross Stitch’s “Ravens at Castle Kerr”! I was looking at your WIP and I’m thinking - I know I bought that chart!!! So - off to my guest room (aka: hoarder central) and after some digging I found mine! I believe I bought the chart and the Roxy Floss threads from someone on Facebook. I’m reading in the chart about the fabric Ellen used - and she mentioned Tephra as an option and I KNEW I had ordered that but when it arrived, I couldn’t remember which project went with it. 😂😂😂. Sooo thank you - I unearthed my chart, flosses AND the piece of 40 Ct Tephra that has been lying on my bed in the guest room for ages. LOL! I just saw the specialty stitches she used on the castle - those will be fun and they look amazing on the model photo. Think I’ll start this after Christmas. Yours looks great and good on you for getting that border out of the way.

If you glue a magnet on the back of your Bobeez (and something on top to cover up the glue if you prefer not to see it) you can use another magnet on the back to hold the Bobeez on your fabric so it doesn't flop around...

"Glass Slipper" is just stunning! I love it! I am behind on the Monster House SAL but am really enjoying it! I absolutely LOVE how you call borders "eating your vegetables" and I am stealing the term 😄 It was such a true statement and it spoke to my soul--borders can be a bit monotonous. I am using the nymo thread for the first time on Mirabilia's "Lady of the Flag" and so far, so good! I cannot wait to hear about the Scottish Stitching Retreat!
