I'm an aida only gal too. I've stitched on all other fabrics, but I enjoy my aida. It's good to hear from others who enjoy it. I stitch large projects that many stitch on linen. I do it my way as stitching is a stress reliever for me. Thank you. I enjoyed this interview.

I watched that pbs channel of cross stitching. It must have been 20 years ago. Then after was sewing with Nancy. Wow that brings back memories 😮

Happy New Year, I love aida too and if I see a pattern that suggests linen I will find a aida to fit the project. Keep up with the wonderful job of interviews and this interview was a winner, great seeing Kimberly Jolly!

I was so excited to see Kimberly as the guest!!! Such an awesome way to start the year. Also, the black-eyed pea thing is a southern thing I think as we did that too (well my grandparents did) when I was growing up. Happy New Year!!!

Becca…these interviews are ingenious….it’s so interesting to hear about other peoples’ experiences….I think people are doing more handcrafts because it takes us back to a time when life was less stressful….it’s so satisfying to create and cross stitch is SO relaxing…it always takes me to my happy place!!
