Fabulous stitching from you AND your daughter! She's amazing for her age...the focus and followthrough! I taught my daughter years ago, and while she does some once in awhile, she prefers to crochet. I think she got off count once and that was pretty much it for her! Love the idea of stitching spring during the dreary winter...here in Wyoming we are supposed to get some wet snow next week, but have been blessed with an absolutely gorgeous fall...it was 75 degrees today! I find each year it's harder for me to psych myself up for winter...after driving 10 miles across town in the morning, and then back again after school (for the 35 years I taught at the same school!) I am just over it! But I think I will find a spring pattern like you have and that will help..and I'm retired so can stay home when roads are bad!

First time viewer...Loved your video! Keep making such great videos with so many beautiful pieces and opening my eyes to pieces I haven’t seen before! (Some even free!). I am ordering the Spring Quaker chart tonight and plan to join the SAL! So excited! I am in the Chicago area and we get LONG, awful winters so this one is perfect as well! Can’t wait!!! You have such a sweet, authentic ness about you. 🥰. I am hoping to get my daughter to do some stitching at some point too. I have been a quilter and longerarmer for over 20 years so my boys have done a little sewing/quilting but haven’t gotten my daughter into it yet.

Hi Samantha. I can’t blame your daughters for both wanting the star gazer. I suggest you stitch the moon fairy . I think it goes well with the star gazer so each one can have a different fairy but the same aesthetic.

Ack! You said that dread 4-letter word. SNOW! We just had our first frost this week. I knew a gal who lived in Saskatchewan and she liked to garden. Her growing season was so short, maybe 4 months if she was lucky. She always reported snow in September. 😲Way too early for me. Your Stargazer is going to be gorgeous. Maybe you could do The Fairy Moon (OOP) for the other daughter? I have them paired up in my stash and hope to do both someday. Your 12yo is really going to town on her Sunflower Fairy. That is so great that she likes to stitch, too. Stay warm, Samantha.

The only purchase I made from this years market was Spring Quaker. Love it but not started it yet. My daughter is Samantha and she loves sunflowers so will have to look that pattern up. I started the owl forest Alice at the beginning of their SAL. Must get back to it I also own the Alice piece by Nora Corbett but waiting to start it for when I finish the Partridge in a pear tree from her. I’ve done the first block of Christmas any HRH. Think I might need to pull both those Christmas pieces in November. Just started watching Laladee too. Will look up 2 eclectic stitches next. Have a great stitchy week.

Great flosstube - your episodes are really something to look forward to. You and your daughter are great stitchers. I am starting to get intrigued by Nora Corbett designs. I'm not a new stitcher exactly, but by no means am I an expert. I'm working on the Map of Hawk Run Hollow - and like you, I'm absolutely loving it. I've done a few Blackbird Designs samplers, am working on Summer Quaker by Rosewood Designs, Nottingham by Kathy Barrick (and many others, you know how it is) just to give you examples of my skill level.
