This is so beautiful! I love that you’re doing 3 over 1 on 14 count. It just makes better coverage and color saturation to the eye. 💙 Also, what kind of stand do you use? And are you using a Q snap?
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and it’s nice that you enjoyed my stitching. You are right. Colour saturation and full coverage are what I am intended to achieve with this project. Also, I am using a Universal Craft Stand and a size 17x11” Q snap. Happy Stitching 🧵💕🥰🤩
Hi 👋 Music in this video is from Epidemic Sound. I am glad that you enjoyed this video and it’s nice that you find the music relaxing. Thank you so much 😊 Happy Stitching 🧵💕🤩🥰
I am a beginner and sew on the prestamped cross stitch canvases. Would you please show how you park your thread and explain what 3 over 1 means? I dream of the day when I can do what you are stitching 🙂
3 over 1 means three strands of threads over one fabric of thread just like I showed in this video. I am parking my threads on the left-hand corner of the hole as if I am doing stitching but instead I am parking the thread. Thank you for your lovely comment and it’s nice that you enjoyed my stitching. Happy Stitching 🧵🥰🤩💕
Thank you so much and it’s nice that you enjoyed this video. Stitching 3 strand on a 14 count fabric gives saturation of the colours and gives full coverage of the design. Happy Stitching 🧵🥰🤩💕
Hello your piece is so beautiful! I am confused - I use one hand to bring the needle down and then up.? Do you stitch using two hands? I have never seen this before? Also I notice you pull your thread before bringing it down through the hole is that to help make the threads lay flat? I love your music! Where can I find similar music to listen to when I stitch?
Hi Thank you so much for your comments. When I use my stand I use two hands but when I don’t use the stand I hold my material in one hand and stitch with one hand. I do pull my thread through to keep my stitching flat. There are 35 videos so far in my collection where you can listen to beautiful music which I carefully choose. Happy New Year and Happy Stitching 🥰💕🤩
Hello - are you using two hands to stitch? Do you pull your thread taught as it goes down through a hole to help make the threads lay flat? Love your music! Where can I find similar to stitch to ?
Hi Thank you for your comments. With this project I use two hands to stitch. I am using a q snap frame to taught the fabric tightly enough so that when I pull the threads it lays flat. Also I make sure that my tension is nice and even when I am stitching. All the music I use are all from Epidemic Sound. Have a great day and Happy Stitching 🥰🤩💕
i know this video is a couple of months old now so hopefully you see this. when you finish your thread you just thread through a hole off to the side and snip. how is that securing it on the back? I would love to do the same because it seems so much easier and faster, but wasn't sure if it was secure
Hi Amber 👋 Thank you for your comment. This method works for me. I have been using this method ever since I started my HAED’s projects and I am not having issues at all. It will not work when I do the tent stitch though because there is no way to secure the threads at the back, it only works when I am stitching in a full cross. To be honest, I have tested this method so many times and for me, it works. I hope you find this method very helpful. Have a lovely day and Happy Stitching 🥰💕🧵
I, too, am stitching with 3 threads over 1 on 14 count Aida. It is a full coverage with mainly dark blue background to represent night sky and I found 2 threads on white fabric didn’t give enough cover without the white showing through. Thank you for the relaxing video. It was lovely to stitch along to. By the way, where did you get your lovely needle minder from? It is gorgeous. Take care until next time. With best wishes from Down Under 😘💕🪡🧵🇦🇺

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, and thank you so much for subscribing to my channel. I live in Queensland where we have had a lockdown. We are okay now and the lockdown has been lifted and can now go out and breathe the fresh air but of course, still have to wear masks for protection. I am glad that you enjoyed this video. Happy stitching, stay well, and stay safe 🧵🥰🤩💕🇦🇺
